Derrida, an an-archist? a defundamental reflection on truth as writing (écriture)

This article aims to highlight the possibility of considering Jacques Derrida as a philosopher of an-archy, that is, a thinker who promotes an approach devoid of any legitimization tied to the arkhé, also indicating how the movement of deconstruction he developed directly affects the political lexicon. To this end, the article has as its backdrop the way Derrida elaborated his reflection on the significance of truth. Initially, we discuss how deconstruction contributes to the creation of a new radically an-archic political lexicon, drawing on the idea of an-archy based on the works of Reiner Schürmann. Next, we address the scene of structural and archic truth to which Derrida refers. Finally, we clarify the quasi-concept of writing (écriture). As a result, the research opens up space to recognize an ontological an-archy in Jacques Derrida's deconstruction, thus enabling the consideration of an an-archic “truth” in its relation to concrete political problems, ranging from potential forms of social organization to other ways of structuring ourselves in the world beyond the dictionarized language of traditional politics founded on the arkhé.
