Abstract
This article investigates the extent to which Labor Law plays a role in shaping reality and, at the same time, transforms it. For this purpose, in addition to a brief review of the history of Labor Law, the article analyzes the limits of democracy in a capitalist reality. Based on that, we will examine the role that the Labor Courts have for the maintenance / construction of a democratic reality, even to overcoming the model adopted today and the consequent construction of a social life that eliminates inequalities, produces wealth distribution and reduces levels of violence and discrimination
