Projeto Resgate was created by a joint action between the "Secretaria Estadual da Saúde" (State Health Department) and the "Secretaria da, Segurança Pública" (Public Security Department) of S Paulo, which joined their material and human resources to solve the problem of emergency health care in São Paulo. This pamphlet illustrates the experiences of a nurse, who is involved with "Projeto Resqate", administering nurse treatment to emergencies priorly to patients being hospitalized, utilizing as transportation a helicopter which belonged to the Military Police of São Paulo. This is regarding a new service, originated in Brazil, where doctors and nurses go out of their habitual work environments to where the patients are located to administer first aid
