Abstract
The present study characterizes the only species of the Monimiaceae family registered in Reserva Ducke. Collections from the reserve were analyzed from exsiccatae deposited in the INPA, P and RB herbaria. One species of the genus Mollinedia is recorded for the reserve, Mollinedia grazielae, reported here for the first time to Brazil. We present species description, taxonomic comments, illustration, habitat information and geographic distribution.
