Educação e Pesquisa is a journal published every four months by the Faculdade de Educação at the Universidade de São Paulo — FEUSP (School of Education at the University of São Paulo, founded in 1969). Edited from 1975, the journal welcomes articles in Portuguese, French, Spanish, and English, with abstracts in the original language and also in English.

The journal publishes original articles and research reports in education and related areas, as well as book reviews, special documents, and translations made by teachers and researchers from the University, and also from other institutions.

To briefly refer to the journal in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips, the use of its short title Educ. Pesqui. is recommended.
