Trata-se de investigar os possíveis efeitos do trabalho com a música na clínica das psicoses. A partir da experiência em distintos espaços clínicos, especialmente em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (Caps), as autoras sustentam a hipótese de que a música se mostra uma via potente na criação de intervalos entre o sujeito e o Outro, o que é desafio constante nessa clínica. Dessa análise decanta a questão do silêncio, como elemento essencial na direção do tratamento nas psicoses.

Music and a little bit of silence: from voice to the subject. The article seeks to investigate the possible effects of the work with music in the clinic of the psychoses. From the experience in different clinical spaces, especially in a Caps (Psycho-social Service Center), the authors support the hypothesis of the music like a powerful road in the creation of intervals between the subject and the Other: constant challenge in this clinic. From that analysis upsurges the subject of silence, as an essential element in the direction of the psychoses treatment.

Pretende-se demonstrar como a matriz primeira de interpretação freudiana da religião - baseada na crítica aos elementos imaginários que compõem o quadro da adesão religiosa - é suplantada por Freud com a escrita de Moisés e o monoteísmo em 1939. É a leitura deste ensaio que nos permite perceber a presença do real na genealogia da religião. O sentimento de desamparo vinculado à experiência de satisfação foi alvo de nossa investigação, fornecendo subsídios que confirmaram a presença de outros elementos além dos imaginários no fenômeno religioso.

Beyond Illusion: the Real in Freud's criticism to religion. This paper aims to demonstrate how the first religious interpretative Freud's matrix - based on the criticism of imaginary elements that constitute the framework of the religious adhesion - is overcome by Freud's Moses and the Monotheism in 1939. This reading allows us to realize the presence of the Real in the genealogy of religion. The analysis of the feeling of helplessness combined with the experience of satisfaction was also investigated here, providing subsidies that confirm the presence of other elements beyond the imaginary in the religious phenomenon.

A tradição empirista na medicina impôs seu modelo à clínica psicopatológica, e a psiquiatria construiu assim seus métodos diagnósticos sobre o modelo da observação direta. No contexto contemporâneo, essa tradição aparece, sobretudo, com a iniciativa a-teórica do DSM. Os tratamentos seguirão o ideal científico, o que aliena definitivamente o sujeito de seu sofrimento. Discute-se aqui tal proposição, contrapondo a proposta psicanalítica como única saída ao discurso científico-positivista no âmbito da psicopatologia.

Critics to empiricism applied to clinical psychopathology: from the sterility of the DSM to an issue by psychoanalysis. The empiricist tradition of medicine imposed its model upon the clinic in psychopathology. Thus, Psychiatry constructed its diagnostic methods based on the empiricists' principles of direct observation. In the contemporary context, this tradition mainly appears with the non-theoretical initiative of the DSM. Treatments will follow this scientific ideal, which definitely alienates the subject from its suffering. This paper discusses such a proposition and opposes the psychoanalytical proposal as the only solution to the scientific-positivist discourse in psychopathology.

Expõe-se aqui a psicose clássica, "freudo-lacaniana", formulada por Lacan, a partir da herança freudiana, em seu ensino linguístico-estrutural na década de 1950, cujo caso paradigmático é Schreber, e a "psicose lacano-milleriana", surgida com a clínica borromeana de Lacan em meados da década de 1970, com base no sinthoma joyceano, denominada recentemente "psicose ordinária", segundo a orientação dos teóricos ligados ao Campo Freudiano. Pretende-se estabelecer uma análise comparativa entre esses dois conceitos com ênfase nos seus modos de suplência.

The psychosis in the contemporary and its new symptoms: from pathos to orthos. It explains the Classic Psychosis as formulated by Freud's paradigmatic "Schreber case" and, lately, as developed by Lacan's linguistic-structural teaching, back in the 1950's. It explains also the "neopsychosis" that appeared in the Lacan's Borromean clinic in the 1970's based on the Joycean sinthome, called recently "Ordinary Psychosis", under the guidance of authors related to the Freudian Field. It is intended to establish a comparative analysis between these two concepts with emphasis on their ways of suplency.

Aborda-se o conceito de erotomania como uma resposta dada pelo sujeito psicótico para a questão que se apresenta ao ser humano, provocada pela contingência inerente ao encontro com o parceiro amoroso. Estabelece-se de que forma o amor se coloca como problema para o ser humano e trabalhamos essa perspectiva apontando para a especificidade da erotomania em sua diferenciação com a resposta oferecida pelo sujeito neurótico, o amor de transferência.

Erotomania: the impasses of love and a psychotic response. It consists of approaching the concept of Erotomania as a response given by the psychotic for the question that is presented to the human being, caused by the contingency inherent to the encounter with the loving partner. We establish how love sets up a problem to the human being and we work this perspective pointing out the specificity of Erotomania in its differentiation with the response given by the neurotic, which is, the loving transference.

Período de transtornos somatopsíquicos inéditos, a adolescência repõe em questão os marcos identitários e identificatórios. A metáfora de Anzieu - o Eu-pele - parece-nos fecunda para pensar a adolescência em termos de muda: mudar de pele. O investimento dos limites é especialmente solicitado para conter essas transformações. Este artigo propõe uma reflexão acerca dos conteúdos intrapsíquicos, objetais e sociais que favorecem a muda adolescente.

Adolescence, a psychical molting season in search for containment. During adolescence, physical and psychic reorganizations are very important and new markers of identity and identifications are thrown back into question. Anzieu's metaphor, the "Skin-Ego" ("Moi-Peau"), appears to us very useful to think adolescence as a molting: the skin - i.e. the metaphoric Skin-Ego - is changing. This new transformations need to be contained, so the cathexis of the boundaries is requested. The purpose of the present article is to ponder on the containments favoring the molting of the adolescence. These containments are psychic, object and societal.

Trata-se de explicitar as críticas que Winnicott fez ao conceito de pulsão de morte, indicando que alternativas ofereceu para resolver os problemas para os quais Freud teria suposto a pulsão de morte. Depois de retomar a posição de Freud, para mostrar que esse conceito serve como uma especulação para compreender a compulsão à repetição, demonstra-se que Winnicott mudou o foco da questão, considerando que os pacientes precisam regredir a situações similares à traumática, anteriores à constituição das defesas contra o trauma, para as integrarem em sua personalidade.

Winnicott's criticism and alternatives to the concept of death instinct. The objective of this article is to explain Winnicott's criticism on the concept of death instinct, by showing the alternatives Winnicott gave to solve the problems for which Freud would have supposed the death instinct. After examining Freud's position to show that this concept is used in a speculative way to understand the repetition compulsion, it is shown that Winnicott changed the core of the issue taking into account the fact that patients need to regress to situations similar to the traumatic one, nevertheless, prior to the constitution of the defences against the trauma in order to integrate these traumatic experiences into their personality.

Busca-se identificar e discutir o lugar da perícia e o do analista no acompanhamento de loucos infratores, a partir das contribuições da psicanálise de orientação lacaniana. Enquanto a perícia se orienta pelo saber disciplinar que visa o controle baseado em modelo standard de tratamento, resultando na segregação das singularidades, a psicanálise propõe que se ocupe um lugar esvaziado de saber e que o analista se guie pelas invenções do sujeito capazes de conectá-lo ao laço social, sem perder de vista os modos de satisfação singulares ligados às amarrações de cada um.

The expertise's and analyst's place in the approach of insane offender. The article discusses the place of expert and the place of analyst in attending insane offenders, from the contributions of Lacanian psychoanalysis. While the expertise is guided by the disciplinary knowledge that seeks to control based in a standard model of treatment that segregates the singularities, psychoanalysis proposes that analyst occupies a place emptied of knowledge and is guided by the inventions of subject able to connect him to social bond, without losing sight the singular modes of satisfaction of the each one knot.

O autor interroga a relação entre o desastre totalitário e a psicanálise. Será que a psicanálise, os psicanalistas, tem algo pertinente a dizer acerca da barbárie? Esta não é uma dimensão que estaria fora do nosso campo? Será que podemos afirmar que o desastre que sobreveio na cultura não teria tido senão pouca ou nenhuma consequência sobre nossa "teoria", nossas "práticas", nossa "arte"? Não é incrível que demos seguimento à tarefa psicanalítica como se a onda da irrupção do terror e da barbárie na cultura não tivesse abalado as quatro paredes de nossos consultórios? Estas são perguntas que este artigo enfrenta e que levam o autor a se voltar sobre a questão dos estados limites a partir de sua reflexão acerca dos efeitos psíquicos duradouros do totalitarismo.

Malaise in civilization and totalitarian disaster. The author cross-examines the relationship between psychoanalysis and totalitarian disaster. Does psychoanalysis, psychoanalysts, have something relevant to say about the barbarism? Isn't this a dimension which is beyond our field? Can we say that the disaster that befell the culture would not have had but little or no consequence on our "theory", our "practice" our "art"? Isn't it amazing that we follow the psychoanalytic task as if the wave of eruption of terror and barbarism in culture had not shaken the four walls of our offices? These are questions which this article is facing, and leading the author to get back on the issue of borderline states since his reflection on the lasting psychological effects of totalitarianism.
