Resumo: Contam os especialistas em falsificação de quadros que não é o rosto ou a mão do retratado que delata o falsário – ali ele terá tomado todas as precauções. Seu erro aparecerá em um detalhe pouco importante, talvez na indumentária ou na curva de uma orelha, onde ele se sentirá mais à vontade e, sem se dar conta, deixará uma assinatura: sua própria pincelada. Abandonando, então, o foco no enredo, ou nos protagonistas das narrativas, procuro pensar a literatura brasileira contemporânea a partir de elementos considerados secundários, quando não irrelevantes: os objetos que compõem a cena. Seus significados, muitas vezes evocadores da memória das personagens, ou dos seus, marcam a situação de homens e mulheres no mundo contemporâneo e revelam algo sobre a perspectiva autoral. Este texto, inspirado em diferentes narrativas e mesmo nas artes visuais, é um breve percurso pelas inquietações que fundamentam esta reflexão.

Abstract: The experts in fake paintings tell us that it is not the face or the hand of the portrayed that betrays the forger – she will have taken all precautions in these features. Her mistake will appear in an unimportant detail, perhaps in the dress or curve of an ear, where she will feel more at ease and, without realizing it, will leave a signature: her own brushstroke. Abandoning, then, the focus on the plot, or the protagonists of the narratives, I try to think contemporary Brazilian literature from elements considered secondary, if not irrelevant: the objects that make up the scene. Their meanings, often evocative of the memory of the characters or their relatives, mark the situation of men and women in the contemporary world and reveal something about the authorial perspective. This text, inspired by different narratives and even in the visual arts, is a brief journey through the concerns that underlies this reflection.

Resumo: Este ensaio visa refletir sobre minha própria produção ficcional, tendo como fio condutor a noção de “comunidades incomum”, tema do encontro da APSA em 2016, onde originalmente apresentei este texto como um dos keynotespeakers do evento. A ideia é centrarme no romance Opisanie świata, publicado em 2013, e examinar como os personagens ali constituem o que poderíamos chamar não tanto uma comunidade incomum, mas uma comunidade de incomuns, uma comunidade que tem como único ponto de contato o fato de todos estarem em trânsito, isto é, de todos estarem fora de seus lugares de origem. Ou seja, aquilo que os aproxima não é algo da ordem da identidade, mas do não-pertencimento.

Abstract: This essay aims to examine my own fictional production, having as a guide the notion of “uncommon communities”, theme of the APSA congress in 2016, where I originally presented this text as one of the keynotespeaker of the meeting. The idea is to analyze how the characters of the novel Opisanie świata constitute what we can call a community of uncommons, instead of an uncommon community. A community of uncommons has as its sole point of contact the fact that everyone is in transit, i. e., that everyone is out of their place of origin. That is to say that what brings them together is not something of the order of identity, but of the order of non-beloning.

Resumo: O mundo tem presenciado nas últimas décadas o maior fluxo de deslocamentos migratórios de sua história desde a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Não se passa um dia sem que a imprensa nacional ou internacional anuncie o desaparecimento de migrantes pelos oceanos do planeta, o desmantelamento de campos “selvagens” de estrangeiros ou a implementação de novos dispositivos jurídicos de gestão de populações expatriadas. Da invisibilidade do final dos anos 90 à inflação atual de textos, migrantes e refugiados tornaram-se nestas últimas décadas atores inconturnáveis do campo midiático e literário. O presente artigo visa interrogar as formas de representaçã desta nova categorial social na produção literária brasileira contemporânea.

Abstract: In recent decades, the world has witnessed the greatest migratory movements in its history since World War II. Not a day passes without the national or international press reporting the disappearance of migrants on the oceans of the planet, the dismantling of ‘wild’ camps of foreigners, or the implementation of new legal devices for the management of emigrants. From the invisibility of the 1990's to the current escalation in the number of texts, migrants and refugees have become major players in the media and literary field. This article reflects upon the form of representation of this new social category in Brazilian modern literature.

Resumo: O diálogo constante entre literatura e fotografia observado nas narrativas contemporâneas possibilitou identificar singularidades no modo de representação utilizado no romance O fotógrafo, de Cristovão Tezza. Desde a nomeação dos capítulos – fotogramas – até a criação da ciência da ‘photomancia’, o texto se apresenta como uma coletânea de imagens fotográficas que se desdobram em infinitas possibilidades de intepretação acerca de aspectos recorrentes no universo urbano contemporâneo problematizados na ficção brasileira deste século. Compreender a cidade-labirinto – Curitiba –, bem como os sujeitos que fazem parte de sua composição é uma das preocupações do narradores-fotógrafos, leitores atentos àquele espaço plural em constante transformação.

Abstract: The constant dialogue between literature and photography in the contemporary narratives made it possible to identify singularities in the way of representation used in the novel O fotógrafo, by Cristovão Tezza. From the naming of the chapters – frames – until the creation of the science of ‘photomancy’, the text presents itself as a collection of photographic images that unfold in an infinite possibilities of interpretation on recurrent aspects in the contemporary urban universe problematized in the Brazilian fiction of this century. Understanding the city-labyrinth - Curitiba, as well as the subjects that are part of its composition is one of the concerns of the narrator-photographers, readers attentive to that plural space in constant transformation.

Resumo: De mim já nem se lembra (2016), de Luiz Ruffato, é um romance epistolar que apresenta assuntos caros ao seu autor, quais sejam, as memórias familiares. No presente artigo, situando-o em uma produção literária contemporânea, propor-se-á um diálogo sobre a multiplicidade de vozes que ressoam juntamente com os discursos dos narradores e que contribuem para a construção estética da obra. Na primeira parte do artigo, apresentar-se-á uma breve reflexão sobre a origem do gênero romanesco e seu desdobramento em romance epistolar para, então, discutir sobre a figura do narrador e sua configuração na obra em questão, sem a pretensão de esgotar as possibilidades de leituras sobre essa figura tão cara à narrativa. Posteriormente, aprofundar-se-á na análise do romance, evidenciando suas particularidades quanto à configuração das memórias familiares, tendo como principal recurso a concepção bakhtiniana do plurilinguíssimo no romance. Dessa forma, será evidenciado o modo como as categorias tempo e espaço são relativizadas no universo romanesco destacando, assim, a engenhosidade da obra.

Abstract: De mim já nem se lembra (2016), by Luiz Ruffato, it is an epistolary novel that presentes invaluable subjects to its author, that are, the family memoirs. In the present article, situating it in a contemporary literary production, a dialogue will be proposed about the multiplicity of voices that resonate with the narrators’ discourses and contribute to an aesthetic construction of the work. In the first part of the article, a brief reflection on the origin of the romanesque genre and its unfolding in epistolary romance will be presented to discuss the narrator figure and its configuration in the work in question, without the pretension of exhausting the possibilities of reading about this figure so important to the narrative. Later, it will deepen on the analysis of the novel evidencing its peculiarities as to the configuration of the familiar memories, having as main resource the Bakhtinian conception of the plurilingual in the novel. So, it will be evidenced how the time and space categories are relativized in the romanesque universe emphasizing the ingenuity of the work.

Resumo: A relação inversa de orfandade entre mãe e filho é desenvolvida neste conto do Padre Fábio de Melo. De forma simbólica, profunda e artesanal, o autor cria uma narrativa intimista, rica em detalhes, crítica acerca da morte, sob a ótica de quem fica, da mãe que, ao perder o filho, perde sua “função”. Este artigo vista pensar a relação familiar e intimista como um dos temas da literatura contemporânea.

Abstract: The inverse relationship of orphanhood between mother and child is developed in this story by Fábio de Melo. In a symbolic, deep and artisan way, the author creates an intimate narrative, rich in details, critical about death, from the point of view of who is left, of the mother who, losing the child, loses her “function”. This article views the familiar and intimate relationship as one of the themes of contemporary literature.

Resumo: Oferecemos uma caracterização de A república dos sonhos de Nélida Piñon evidenciando como a trama e os mecanismos de enunciação estão condicionados pelo espaço, pelo quotidiano e pelo político. A partir da análise dessa novela podemos ver como esses elementos permitem desenvolver uma leitura transversal que evidencia o modo pelos qual os discursos literários configuram-se como espaços de representações nômadas. Dita leitura exige uma descrição da configuração do espaço e do quotidiano que os conduzirá a avaliar a relação entre a literatura e o político; uma relação polêmica e litigiosa que envolve deslocamentos simbólicos, identitários de enunciação e de escritura. Assim, uma “poética dos deslocamentos” evidenciará como um texto literário se ressignifica a partir do diálogo e de um caráter transgressor, característico de formas artísticas híbridas que superam os limites de representação ao colocar em cena o espaço, a política, a história e a intrahistória.

Resumen: Ofrecemos una caracterización de A república dos sonhos de Nélida Piñon evidenciando cómo la trama y los mecanismos de enunciación están condicionados por el espacio, por lo cotidiano y por lo político. A partir del análisis de esta novela podremos ver cómo estos elementos permiten desarrollar una lectura transversal que evidencie el modo en que los discursos literarios se configuran como espacios de representación nómadas. Dicha lectura exige una descripción de la configuración del espacio y lo cotidiano, lo cual nos conducirá a evaluar la relación entre la literatura y lo político; una relación polémica y litigiosa que involucra desplazamientos simbólicos, identitarios de enunciación y de escritura. Así, una “la poética de los desplazamientos” evidenciará como un texto literario se resignifica a partir del diálogo y de un carácter trasgresor, característico de formas artísticas híbridas que superan los límites de representación al poner en escena el espacio, la política, la historia y la intrahistoria.

Abstract: This paper offers a characterization of A república dos sonhos by Nélida Piñon. It demonstrates how the narrative plot and the mechanisms of textual enunciation are conditioned by space, by the daily routine, and by the politics. From the analysis and description of this novel, it is shown how these elements allow developing a transversal reading that evidences how the literary discourses of the last decades are configured as spaces of nomadic representation. This reading requires a description of the configuration of the space and the routine within the novel, which leads to an evaluation of the relationship between literature and politics; a controversial and litigious relation that involves symbolic displacements, identities of enunciation and writing. Thus, “the poetics of displacement” shows how a literary text is resignified by the dialogue and by a fundamentally transgressive character, characteristic of hybrid artistic forms that overcome the limits of representation when stages space, the politics, history, and intrahistory.

Resumo: O cinema e a literatura de cordel apresentam o Nordeste como uma feira de mitos com características sui generis no que concerne à cultura popular. O imaginário que cerca a região constitui o Nordeste como sendo a terra das lendas, dos cangaceiros, dos jagunços, dos vaqueiros e líderes religiosos. A partir desse ponto de vista, o Nordeste pode ser encarado como uma construção imagético-discursiva onde se propagam os mais diversos mitos, tipicamente, heroicos gerados em um grupo socioeconômico marginalizado, de proletários arraigados à terra. Nesse cenário, dois personagens fundamentais aparecem constantemente nas histórias populares: o cangaceiro e as figuras santas, beatos e líderes religiosos carismáticos. Dentro do corpus, se procura investigar como se dá o processo de criação desses personagens mitificados bem como a função destes a partir do universo imagético-discursivo do cinema e literatura.

Abstract: Cordel's movies and literature presents the Northeast as a myth fair with sui generis caracteristics in terms of folk culture. The imaginary which surrounds the region constitutes the Northeast as being the land of the legends, of the cangaceiros, of the jagunços, of the cowboys and religious leaders. From this point of view, the Northeast can be seen as an discursive-imagetic construction where the most diverse myths are spread, myths that are, typically, heroic generated in a marginalized socioeconomic group, of earth attached proletarians. In this scenario, two fundamental characters constantly appear in folk stories: the cangaceiro and the saint figures, the beatified and charismatic religious leaders. Inside the corpus, there's an investigation on how the creation process happens for this mythical characters as well as their function as from the discursive-imagetic universe of movies and literature.
