Summary
A preview which presents just some of the results obtained in the course of a preliminary anthropological study carried out in the region of the Aripuanã Program in november/december 1975. These results are presented in five stages viz: 1) The municipality of Aripuana; 2) The indians of Aripuana; 3) The Aripuanã Program; 4) "Humboldt City"; 5) Dardanelos.
