The hypocalcemia has been diagnosed quite often presently. The maintenance of normal calcemia depends on the Interaction of PTH and vitamin D over the bone, kidney and intestine mediated through the action of a sensor of calcium in the cellular membrane. As the causes of hypocalcemia are variable its etiology should be defined before a suitable treatment is delineated.
