Discutem-se aqui as relações entre os processos subjetivos e as formas de sofrimento a eles associados, levando em consideração o lugar do pai circunscrito por Freud e Lacan e suas transformações na contemporaneidade. A intenção é indicar as mudanças na subjetividade contemporânea, em particular em relação ao lugar atribuído ao pai na sociedade disciplinar e na configuração social da atualidade. Com isso, busca-se estabelecer articulações entre as novas relações de poder e a produção da subjetividade na clínica da psicanálise.

Psychoanalysis's subjective processes and truth games in the transformation of the father's place. This paper discusses the relations among subjective processes and forms of suffering associated with them, considering the father's place as described by Freud and Lacan, and its changes in contemporaneity. It aims to indicate the changes in contemporary time, especially in relation to the place conferred to the father in the disciplinary society and in the present social configuration. Thus it tries to establish articulations among the new relations of power and subjectivity's production in the psychoanalytic clinic.

Inspirando-se na metapsicologia freudiana e na filosofia de Leibniz, este artigo mostra que as dinâmicas afetivas é que animam as lógicas reflexivas. A primeira dinâmica afetiva consiste em incluir representações para substituir as que foram recalcadas, o que constitui a lógica da equivalência do princípio de identidade. Quanto à segunda dinâmica afetiva, consiste em compensar frustrações encontrando os recursos que sejam suficientes para sublimá-las, o que constitui a lógica indutiva do princípio de razão suficiente. Dito de outra maneira, a reflexão é a simples expressão linguageira de determinados afetos.

The affection and the reflection. Notably being inspired by the Freudian metapsychology and the Leibnizian philosophy, this article defines that reflexive logics are stimulated by affective dynamics. The first affective dynamic consists in connecting affects to representations using a set of identifications, which constitutes the equivalence logic of the identity principle. The second affective dynamic consists in compensating frustrations by finding sufficient means for sublimating them; this constitutes the inductive logic of the principle of sufficient reason. In other words, reflection is just the linguistic expression of some affects.

O conceito de sublimação não ganhou, com Freud, o desenvolvimento em um artigo específico, tendo sido trabalhado em textos destinados a outras temáticas e em distintos momentos de sua obra, carecendo da organização desses fragmentos e da lapidação das ambiguidades e contradições possíveis de ser identificadas neste material. O labor lacaniano sobre o texto de Freud produz o resgate do conceito de sublimação, promovendo o distanciamento do reducionismo pelo qual a sublimação é tomada como um conceito normativo. Este artigo objetiva traçar a construção do conceito de sublimação em Freud, e indicar o resgate deste mesmo conceito feito por Lacan.

Sublimation: from the construction to the rescue of the concept. The sublimation concept was not developed by Freud in a single article, but was worked in several texts concerning other matters and in different times of his production, lacking both an organization of these fragments and the discussion of the contradictions found in Freud's theory. Lacan rescued the concept of sublimation in Freud's work, trying to prevent its reduction to a normative concept. This article aims to draw the construction of sublimation concept by Freud and to indicate the rescue of this concept produced by Lacan.

The role of illusion in the Freudian psychoanalysis. The article has as purpose to describe the role assigned by Freud to the Illusion, in the elaboration phases of the psychoanalytic theory, trying to show the illusion, when faced with the reality's proof, can become a source of criativity with a decisive role in the subjectivity construction.

A obra de Herman Melville, Moby Dick, é constituída como uma utopia dentro das circunstâncias condensadas nas personagens da Baleia e do capitão Ahab. A psicanálise, em sua compreensão semântica, cuja implicação envolve o sujeito psíquico, potencializa as singularidades e o coloca ao desafio que extrapola o tempo lógico quando há um encontro na criação utópica. O nominalismo do filósofo inglês Ockham problematiza a dinâmica do conhecimento ao formular um método que corta as explicações excessivas (a navalha) e indaga qual o caminho da apropriação humana no que diz respeito ao campo da discernibilidade dos saberes, trilha esta buscada na obra de Melville.

Cries in the deepness: utopical allegories in Moby Dick and the nominalism in the William of Ockham's work. The Herman Melville's work, Moby Dick, is a constituted utopia inside condensed circumstances in the whale and in captain Ahab figures. The psychoanalysis in its semantic understanding, in which implication involves the psychological subject, potentiates the singularity and puts it to a challenge that oversteps the logic time when there is a meeting on the utopian creation. The nominalism from the Brittan philosophy Ockham problematizes the knowledge dynamic to formulate a method that cuts the excessive explanations (the razor) and inquires what the pathway to the human ownership making sense of discern field of knowledge, this trail is being searched in the Melville's work.

Partindo da constatação de que o olhar do outro tem uma participação destacada nos primeiros momentos da constituição psíquica, propõe-se uma hipótese sobre a imitação do olhar como fator determinante na constituição do eu. Para fundamentar essa hipótese, discutem-se alguns aspectos das teorias de Sartre, Merleau-Ponty e Lacan sobre o olhar, colocando-se em destaque os pontos de aproximação e distanciamento entre eles. Uma compreensão original do olhar como objeto a é apresentada a título de breve interlocução com os autores mencionados.

Taking as a starting point the important role played by the gaze of the other in early psychic development, this article presents a hypothesis about the imitation of the gaze as a key element in the constitution of the ego. The grounds for this hypothesis are searched for in some aspects of three different theories of the gaze: those of Sartre, Merleau-Ponty and Lacan. The article explores the convergences and disagreements among these authors and proposes, as a form of dialogue with them, an original understanding of Lacan's concept of the gaze as object a.

O vampiro é um bebê que morde e tem um desejo ambivalente de imortalidade. O leite materno é vital como o é o sangue para o vampiro. A brincadeira de mordiscar, para o bebê winnicottiano, conta mais do que a mordida para o bebê kleiniano. O bebê kleiniano é mais próximo do vampiro do que o bebê winnicottiano.

The Vampire, a live undead. What does a vampire represent? Why does he have such a place in the culture? It is a cultural invariant with cultural differences. The vampire is a baby that bites and who has an ambivalent desire of immortality. Maternal milk is as vital as blood for the vampire. The game of biting for the Winnicottian baby is more important than the bite for the Kleinian baby. The Kleinian baby is closer to the vampire than the winnicotian baby.

Essa pesquisa aborda o tema 'neurose obsessiva' na obra de Melanie Klein. Assim, foi possível estudar um panorama histórico da construção do pensamento dessa autora - tendo em vista que seguimos um itinerário cronológico de seus textos - e, como consequência importante, obter uma dimensão epistemológica dessa construção. Isso porque a neurose obsessiva constitui-se como um destacado elemento organizador da obra de Klein, sobretudo nas décadas de 1920 e 1930, período que marcou o atendimento dos primeiros pacientes da autora que, em sua maioria, eram crianças que sofriam de neurose obsessiva.

The obsessive neurosis from Melanie Klein's optic. This research focuses on obsessive neurosis in Melanie Klein's. Thus, it was also possible to study a historical broad view of the construction of this author's thought, having in mind that a chronological itinerary was followed, and, as an important consequence, an epistemological dimension of this construction was obtained. This was so because the obsessive neurosis constitutes an outstanding organizing element in Klein's work, mainly in the 1920's and 30's. This time was marked by the observation of the author's first patients, who were, in their majority, children suffering from obsessive neurosis.

Pretende-se discutir a insistência da dimensão traumática na clínica psicanalítica contemporânea à luz do tema da linguagem. Isso porque as narrativas decorrentes de um choque traumático mostram-se predominantemente marcadas pela literalidade, constituídas por palavras intensas e apartadas das cadeias de representações. Trata-se de um recurso distinto da construção metafórica, que caracterizava os relatos nas neuroses clássicas, modalidades de padecimento psíquico que preconizaram a técnica interpretativa à época do surgimento da psicanálise. Sugere-se que tais narrativas evidenciam uma linguagem das resistências, convocando o analista a extrapolar a atitude de suspeita corrente na técnica interpretativa no intuito de instaurar a confiança.

Resistances' language: considerations about trauma in psychoanalytic clinics. It is intended to discuss the persistence of traumatic dimension in contemporary psychoanalytic clinics in the light of the theme of language. Narratives resulting from a traumatic shock are predominantly marked by literalness, consisting of intense words and splited by chains of representations. It is a distinct feature of metaphorical construction that characterized the classical neuroses, psychic modalities of suffering that advocated interpretative technique at the time of the emergence of psychoanalysis. It is suggested that these narratives enlighten resistances' language, calling the analyst to extrapolate the current attitude of suspicion in the interpretative technique in order to build confidence.
