Our Mission

The Anuário do Instituto de Geociências (AIGEO) is the official publication of the Institute of Geoscience (IGEO), published by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). AIGEO publishes original scientific contributions covering Geology, Geography, Meteorology, Geophysics, Geodesy, Oceanography, Archaeology, and other environmental Geosciences-related issues. The mission of the Journal is to stimulate and contribute to the dissemination of research results carried out in the areas of Geosciences developed in Brazil and abroad.
