We will be honored to proceed with the pioneer project developed 18 years ago with efficiency by Prof. Tarcisio E. Pessoa de Barros Filho, after having managed to bring Acta Ortopédica Brasileira ISI journal status in 2009.
To achieve this goal, it will be necessary to have the homogeneous participation of the entire academic community of Brazilian orthopedics.
We need an editorial board with greater international presence and scientific studies consentaneous with the current situation of global orthopedics.
Original research projects will be prioritized, with an emphasis on studies with a higher level of evidence, thus aiming to attain a factor of impact that allows for our indexation in Medline as well.
For this purpose we are counting on the support and effective performance of all those involved.
