Authorship SCIMAGO INSTITUTIONS RANKINGS

The paper examines the creation of the "General Index of Courses" (IGC) and the "Preliminary Concept of Courses" (CPC) in the context of the National Higher Education Evaluation System (SINAES), as an attempt to renew the practices of ranking of higher education institutions, in order to obtain media repercussion.
