Nietzsche na moda* * Publicado no Correio da Manhã. Rio de Janeiro, 6 de maio de 1933, p. 6.

Abstract

In lifting the German philosopher from the oblivion, Stefan Zweig would be the main responsible for the current "Nietzsche vogue". The Brazilian edition of his book in 1931 and the article "L´actualité de Nietzsche", anonymously published in France in 1933, would testify the growing interest in the author of Zarathustra. The presence of Nietzsche in contemporary scene would be due not only to the essays from other scholars, such as Salomé (1893), Bertram (1918), Andler (1920) and Walz (1932), but also to a particular phenomenon: the very philosopher would have foreseen that he would be understood only after the next war".
