Abstract
This article aims to analyze Nietzsche's view of Judaism from the word puzzle "Verhängnis" (fatality) and its derivative adjective: "verhängnisvoll" (fatal). These two words are strangely translated as "fatality" and "disastrous" in various French editions of the moral Genealogy and Antichrist. Why Thinker "fatum" would have impressed the fate of the inflection baleful when he speaks of the Jews, taking into account that the Jews are, in its view, "the fate of Europe." This unique equivocity introduced by French translators in the text of Nietzsche has no sense of being, from the moment we think the nature of this "fatum", this irreversible need introduced in the story for the first revaluation of values - that is the advent of Judaism. Or, if there is equivocity, it is more complex than the simple translation of "verhängnisvoll" by "disastrous" lets on.
