TOWARDS LIVESTOCK DISEASE DIAGNOSIS AND CONTROL IN THE 21st CENTURY
Proceedings of a symposium on Diagnosis and Control of Livestock Diseases Using Nuclear and Related Techniques jointly organized by the IAEA and FAO, Vienna, April 7-11, 1997. The purpose of the symposium was to consider the application of science to livestock production as a complex of socioeconomic problems. It dealt not only with the impact of developments in serology and molecular biology, but also with questions of epidemiology, vaccines, information networks, geographical information systems and socioeconomic factors.
