What a body can do? Bodygraphics of resistance

In this paper the results of a photographic creation developed by the first author were presented, inspired by Spinoza’s question “What can a body do?”, by photographing everyday events related to the body and its relations with the public spaces in the center of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. After the field experience two themes were selected, the body art and the collective bodies, to build a reflection presented as a textual component and a visual component, offering the reader different languages, the speakable and the visible of the relationship between body and city, capable of creating new bodygraphies: bodygraphies of resistance.
