The present theoretical essay aims at discussing the relations that are established between space-temporality and control as from some of the main changes occurred in the labor world, notably under the technological paradigm in Castells' terms. To analyze the space-temporality issue implies going beyond its empirical record and the visibility of its appearances, since time goes through the instituted forms and ways of (re)producing them, by always putting them in the condition of unfinished works. It implies discussing the reconfiguration of labor, which, for the capital renewal, has become intellectual, affective, immaterial, as Lazzarato and Negri teach us. It implies taking the new paradigm as a technological control device that acts without restricting the subject to confined spaces. Today, the subject's capture does not depend on the immobility that the total institutions would impose to him so that the control could be exercised. The current configuration assumed by the space-temporality contributes to moving the subject of the control by confinement to the self-control subject.
