In this paper I will discuss a very specific way of using the Internet. I will call virtual relationships the connections, even when short-lasting, among subjects who supposedly are not acquainted with each other, except through cyberspace. In these forms of relationships the use of a pseudonym or even the creation of characters happens quite often.In this text I will try to establish some relations between the subjective production (created character) and the psychoanalytical concept of fantasy.
