We live in a complex world. The actual process of globalization produces drastical effects in contemporary social organization. The understanding of this process requires to consider the techniques and policy situation, because the two go together in human history. Currently, with the evolution of information technology, there appear fantastic possibilities for a social and aesthetical revolution, which could bring the production of new social relations and of cosmopolitan, multicultural and truly democratic subjectivities. However, the political ownership of these technologies has intensified social inequalities and intolerance. This situation calls for a politically commited Social Psychology, seeking to join forces in order to desconstruct relations of oppression and to implode hegemonical ideologies that ensure these relations in everyday life being lived. In this article, I discuss theoretical and methodological questions about this issue, bringing as an example an experience of research and intervention with people with RSI in Londrina (PR).
