ABSTRACT
This article seeks to question Lacan's theory aboui society as a significant structure. Later, this article will try to find anchor points with the ideology notion raised by Louis Althusser and elucidate both ideas as a way to criticize questions of social order and regarding the dominant ideology. Both concepts seem to work as an amalgam within the symbolic and the imaginary. Without a doubt, they influence the everyday and common practices of subjects living in a social environment. This juncture between the theories proposed by Althusser and Lacan suggests a search to introduce new concepts of critical resistance beyond Lacan's clinical positions and related to the proposals of Althusser's marxist theory.
