Summary:
The authors discuss the contemporary challenges of Medical Education, focusing primarily on the specificity of teacher training. They also emphasize the incorporation of educational technology to the pedagogic scenaries of the teaching-learning process in undergraduation in Medicine. They introduce the experience of Unifesp-EPM with the setting up of a Center for Development of Higher Teaching in Health. This center aims at improving undergraduate medical studies through an interdisciplinary approach.
