Hepaticojejunal derivation without suture: an alternative for reconstruction of bile duct

Biliary tract lesion was found in two patients submitted to conventional and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. In order to rebuild biliary tract it was aplied the technique of sutureless hepatojejunostomy in Roux-en- Y with the introduction of the proximal segment of hepatic commom duct, by a lost catheter inside the lumen of the exclued loop. The grade I lesion, according to the Bismuth classification made the technique possible to be done. Ultrasound control have showed the catheter inside the duct. From nov/94 and feb/95 to act/97 good outcome of the patients does not allow us to make definitive conclusions. Technical facility and low morbity immediately after surgery motivated us to write this paper.
