The analysis object of this study is the trajectory of the process to privative nursing teaching in Brazil, consolidated by educational politic of expansion the number vacancy and schools/curses, and the implications of this process in nursing teaching quality. Looking at this analysis object, it intends identifying relations between economic organization model in the country, educational politic to expand superior teaching and set of ideas that interpose this politic. In this relations, consequences of this politic for the nurse formation process quality are traced, threatened by neo-liberal intention of the Government to implant pay teaching in federal universities.
