A banheira inflável deve ser utilizada para ministrar banho no paciente em repouso no leito. Tem por objetivo ministrar ao cliente banho semelhante ao que ele toma diariamente. É fabricada com plástico flexível e tem as seguintes medidas: comp. 1,80m, larg. 0,85m e alt. 0,15m, bem como válvulas para drenagem da água. Deve ser colocada sobre o leito e retirada da mesma forma com que se troca de roupa de cama. O banho deve ser ministrado com água corrente obtida através de chuveiro ou água colocada em um recipiente. Seu uso sucessivo pelo autor e o parecer técnico de especialistas da área de Fundamentos de Enfermagem consideram-na adequada para o fim a que se propõe.
The inflatable bathtub is to be used when bathing patients that have to stay in bed. Its purpose is to give the patient a bath, similar to the ones he or she usually takes at home. It is made of flexible plastic and has the following measures: 5,90ft (length) by 2,79 ft (width) by 0,49 ft (height). It also has a water draining valve. The inflatable bathtub should be placed on the bed and taken off the same way as bed sheets are changed. The bath can be applied with running water directly from a shower hose or from a water container. This product has been continuously used with satisfactory results by the author and Fundamentos de Enfermagem specialists

RESUMO
