The 25th edition of Stedman's Medical Dictionary brings an outstanding contribution for all medical an allied health professionals who need to handle the international medical publications. The first edition was published in 1833 and in this last edition Stedman's brings approximately 100,000 entries, totally reviewed by at least one of the 36 specialty consultants. Updating in the terminologies of molecular biology, immunology, infectious diseases, genetics, and other fields of health sciences are included. The increased page trim size, allowing more white space around the vocabulary entries and larger typeface, the phonetic spelling used for pronunciation of entry terms, the illustrations and color plates makes this dictionary "user-friendly".
