This paper gives sequence to the development of the literary construction method as a means of metapsychological elaboration. In this method, starting from the feelings and fantasies born out of the analyst’s body and mind during the sessions with patients with schizophrenia diagnosis, the author constructs a literary narrative that contains the history of a certain treatment and its metapsychological elaboration.
In this very paper, a fictional Heraclitus of Heideggerian inspiration uses the devices of the “being-there” analysis and the fourfold-time dimension in order to introduce the idea that the psychoanalytical treatment time is a psychopathological time.
Afterwards, a shaman influenced by Bergson will take over the critics about time in terms of space and the idea of time as duration, to introduce a new paradigm of the medical comprehension over illness which, instead of an overview of the clinical as a repetition of many countable and equivalent events, proposes a conception of the clinic as a cumulative process of enrichment of both doctor and patient’s mental world.
