(The translation of “Die Verneinung” into Portuguese and a new hypothesis)
Based on an analysis of different versions and translations of Freud’s article “Die Verneinung” (1925), the authors examine the fundamental terms and concepts employed by Freud, which allows casting a new light on some clinical phenomena and diagnostic issues.
