Abstract
In this work, we present a survey of the Cyperaceae species from Baixada do Maciambú, located in the Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro, Santa Catarina State, Brazil. We gathered from fieldwork and consulting herbaria collections and we carry out traditional analyses in taxonomy for specific identification. We recognized 54 taxa, of which 33 are new records for the Baixada do Maciambú. In addition, we also present 5 other taxa as possible new occurrences for the study area. The most representative genera in number of species were Cyperus (19 spp.), Eleocharis (11 spp.), and Rhynchospora (9 spp.). We provide keys to identification of genera and species, photographs, habitat information and supplementary comments.
