The results of parasitological human fecal examinations obtained through studies performed in Itanhaém and Mongaguá, in the Southern Coast of the São Paulo State, are reported. In spite of 51 cases of human schistosomiasis found, there was not a single case identified as autochton. Many specimens of Biomphalaria tenagophila, a good intermediate host were found, but were negative for Schistosoma mansoni larval forms. There were also registered Trichostrongylidae eggs in mine persons and one case with Meloidogyne sp eggs.
