The diffuse field of occupational accidents recognition among domestic workers

Deriving from the prism of the Brazilian pension system, the article analyzes the connection between reproductive labor and the recognition of occupational accidents among domestic workers in the city of Recife, between 2015 and 2019. The results bring the perception of a scenario prone to the invisibility of occupational illnesses within the field of reproductive labor, as a result of social relations that conform domestic and care-related work as extensions of women’s roles.
