The company and the information human systems: a conceptual approach to the information management

This is a conceptual study aiming at identifying, in the flow of communication and from the point of view of the companies, the characteristics of the information in the administration field. It focuses on the description of the conceptual aspects of the information; however, due to the absence of consensus in the definition of the term information, the authors try to extract a consensus from such definitions as found in various knowledge areas, especially those integrating the Information Science. They discuss the particularities of the information and the communication in the procedures adopted by the companies' information management. They also discuss the human systems of information, and make it evident that the company system and its information subsystem are necessary subsidies to the establishment of information management policies.
