Panfleto: the Left movements and "the newspaper of the man on the street"

Pamphlet, the newspaper of the men on the street gave voice to the People's Mobilization Front and to the national-revolutionary group that, within the Brazilian Labor Party (PTB), followed the leadership of Leonel Brizola. Through their own vehicle of communication, the Lefts, in the early 1964's, expressed their ideas, projects and strategies. Pamphlet is the object of study in this article. The purpose is to know its editorial project, the political placement of its representatives, the regular writers and contributors, the fixed columns, the articles' subjects and the ideas supported by the newspaper in its seven editions, in February and March of 1964.
