Abstract There is still little knowledge about the role of friendship within the social support network in eating disorders (EDs). This integrative review aimed to analyze the scientific production about friendship relationships in people with EDs. The literature review was conducted using the PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and EMBASE databases in the period from 2010 to 2020. Among the 1126 articles retrieved, 15 met the eligibility criteria, most with a qualitative approach and cross-sectional design, without indicating a theoretical framework. The qualitative aspects of friendship were associated with a reduced frequency and intensity of symptoms when the bond was considered to be of good quality. On the other hand, friendships that involved derogatory comments and negative influences related to body image and eating habits emerged as potential risk factors for triggering disorders. Investing in the quality of peer relationships can contribute to strengthening the social safety net and reducing the psychosocial vulnerability of adolescents at higher risk for developing EDs.

Resumen El papel de la amistad como constitutiva de la red de apoyo social en los trastornos alimentarios (TAs) es aún desconocido. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre las relaciones de amistad en personas con TAs. Se consultaron las bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, entre 2010 y 2020. De los 1126 artículos recuperados, 15 cumplían los criterios de elegibilidad. La mayoría tiene enfoque cualitativo y diseño transversal, sin indicar el marco teórico. Los aspectos cualitativos de las relaciones de amistad se asociaron con una menor frecuencia/intensidad de los síntomas cuando el vínculo se consideraba de buena calidad. Amistades que implicaban comentarios despectivos e influencias negativas sobre el cuerpo y los hábitos alimentarios se consideraron factores de riesgo. Invertir en la calidad de las relaciones entre pares puede contribuir a reforzar la red de protección social y reducir la vulnerabilidad de adolescentes con riesgo de desarrollar TAs.

Resumo Ainda é desconhecido o papel da amizade enquanto constitutiva da rede de apoio social nos transtornos alimentares (TAs). Esta revisão integrativa teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre relações de amizade em pessoas com TAs. Foram consultadas as bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, de 2010 a 2020. Dos 1126 artigos recuperados, 15 preencheram os critérios de elegibilidade. A maioria tem abordagem qualitativa e delineamento transversal, sem indicar referencial teórico. Aspectos qualitativos das relações de amizade foram associados com redução da frequência e intensidade de sintomas quando o vínculo era considerado de boa qualidade. Já amizades que envolviam comentários depreciativos e influências negativas acerca do corpo e hábitos alimentares foram considerados fatores de risco para desencadeamento dos transtornos. Investir na qualidade dos relacionamentos entre pares pode contribuir para fortalecer a rede de proteção social e reduzir a vulnerabilidade psicossocial de adolescentes com risco para desenvolver TAs.

RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio descriptivo y exploratorio, de base cualitativa, fue identificar las resoluciones del MERCOSUR sobre la gestión de residuos de productos agrotóxicos en los alimentos publicadas entre los años 1991 y 2022 y analizar los procesos de armonización regional de esos marcos y su incorporación al marco regulatorio de los Estados Partes fundadores del bloque (Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay). En el análisis se identificaron puntos importantes para la regulación y el seguimiento de la gestión de residuos de productos agrotóxicos en los alimentos en el MERCOSUR, tales como los sinónimos utilizados en la definición de productos agrotóxicos y la amplitud del sistema regulatorio de cada país, las diferencias más destacadas en el alcance de los principales marcos regulatorios nacionales, la desigualdad de la incorporación de los reglamentos regionales e internacionales por parte de los Estados Partes y los desafíos para la armonización de la legislación sobre residuos de productos agrotóxicos en los alimentos en el ámbito del MERCOSUR. Además de los limitados avances observados en el intento de armonizar la legislación pertinente dentro del bloque, existe la necesidad de avanzar, a nivel nacional y regional, en los procesos regulatorios sobre la gestión de residuos de productos agrotóxicos en los alimentos, asegurando la calidad de los productos y servicios ofrecidos a la población y fortaleciendo así el comercio de alimentos más inocuos producidos a partir de procesos menos nocivos para el medioambiente en el MERCOSUR.

ABSTRACT The objective of this descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative basis was to identify MERCOSUR resolutions on pesticide residues in food issued between 1991 and 2022, analyzing the regional harmonization processes of these milestones and their incorporation into the regulatory framework of MERCOSUR founding Member States (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The analysis identified important points for the regulation and monitoring of pesticide residues in food in MERCOSUR, such as the synonyms used in the definition of pesticides and the scope of the regulatory system in each country, the marked differences in the scope of the main national regulatory frameworks, the unequal incorporation of international and regional regulations by the Member States and the challenges for harmonizing legislation on pesticide residues in food within MERCOSUR. In addition to the limited advances observed in the attempt to harmonize the relevant legislation within the bloc, there is a need to advance, nationally and regionally, in the processes to regulate pesticide residues in food, so as to ensure the quality of the products and services provided to the population and also to strengthen safer agro/food trade that relies on processes that are less harmful to the environment.

RESUMO O objetivo deste estudo descritivo e exploratório, de base qualitativa, foi identificar as resoluções do MERCOSUL sobre resíduos de agrotóxicos em alimentos publicadas entre 1991 e 2022, analisando os processos de harmonização regional desses marcos e sua incorporação ao arcabouço regulatório dos Estados Partes fundadores do bloco (Argentina, Brasil, Paraguai e Uruguai). A análise identificou pontos importantes para a regulação e o monitoramento de resíduos de agrotóxicos em alimentos no MERCOSUL, como as sinonímias utilizadas na definição de agrotóxicos e a abrangência do sistema regulatório de cada país, as marcadas diferenças no alcance dos principais marcos regulatórios nacionais, a incorporação desigual de regulamentos internacionais e regionais pelos Estados Partes e os desafios para a harmonização da legislação sobre resíduos de agrotóxicos em alimentos no âmbito do MERCOSUL. Para além dos limitados avanços observados na tentativa de harmonizar a legislação pertinente dentro do bloco, observa-se a necessidade de avançar, nacional e regionalmente, nos processos regulatórios sobre resíduos de agrotóxicos em alimentos, garantindo a qualidade dos produtos e serviços ofertados à população e fortalecendo, assim, um comércio de alimentos mais seguros e produzidos a partir de processos menos prejudiciais ao ambiente no MERCOSUL.

Abstract The impact of the Antarctic Ozone Hole Influence over Southern Brazil in October 2015 was analyzed using daily mean data of the Total Column Ozone (TCO), Ultraviolet Index (UVI) and Radiative Cloud Fraction (RCF) from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument satellite instrument. Vertical profiles and fields of ozone content and Potential Vorticity available from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast reanalysis, air masses backward trajectories from the HYbrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory model and channel 3 water vapor images from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite GOES-13 were also analyzed. The five identified events showed an -7.4±2.3% average TCO reduction, leading to an +16.6±54.6% UVI increase even with a predominance of partly cloudy days. Other impacts were observed in the ozone profiles, where the most significant anomalies occurred from 650 K reaching 1.2 ppmv at the 850 K level. In the ozone fields at 700 K, the presence of a polar origin tongue was observed causing negatives anomalies between -0.2 and 0.4 ppmv in a transient system format forced with eastward-traveling Rossby waves passing through the Southern of Brazil and Uruguay.

Abstract Background: Chromoblastomycosis is a skin infection caused by dematiaceous fungi that take the form of muriform cells in the tissue. It mainly manifests as verrucous plaques on the lower limbs of rural workers in tropical countries. Objectives: The primary objective of this review is to evaluate the accuracy of diagnostic methods for the identification of chromoblastomycosis, considering the histopathological examination as the reference test. Methods: MEDLINE, LILACS and Scielo databases were consulted using the terms ‟chromoblastomycosis” AND ‟diagnosis”. The eligibility criteria were: studies that evaluated the accuracy of tests for the diagnosis of chromoblastomycosis. Eleven studies were selected. Statistical analysis included the calculation of sensitivity and specificity of the diagnostic methods. Results: Considering the histopathological examination as the reference test, the culture showed a sensitivity (S) of 37.5% - 90.9% and a specificity (Sp) of 100%; while direct mycological examination showed S = 50% - 91.6% and Sp of 100% . Considering the culture as the reference test, the serology (precipitation techniques) showed S of 36% - 99%; and Sp of 80% - 100%; while the intradermal test showed S of 83.3% - 100% and Sp of 99.4% - 100%. Study limitations: The small number of studies and very discrepant sensitivity results among them do not allow the calculation of summary measures through a meta-analysis. Conclusions: Direct mycological examination, culture, intradermal test and serology show sensitivity and specificity values for the diagnosis of chromoblastomycosis with no significant difference between the studies.

Resumo Participação social qualifica a tomada de decisão, e, embora seja considerada um direito civil em diversas democracias, ainda é um desafio. O artigo apresenta evidências e discute mudanças na participação social de uma comunidade costeira no sudeste do Brasil (Baía do Araçá), resultante de uma pesquisa-ação participativa. Durante três anos, desenvolveu-se um processo de mobilização social, diagnóstico e planejamento participativos, que produziu um plano de ações. Evidências do aumento da participação social dos stakeholders foram: (1) construção de confiança entre os participantes; (2) aumento do conhecimento de características socioecológicas da Baía do Araçá; (3) reconhecimento das diferentes perspectivas sobre a baía; (4) entendimento sobre processos e instituições de gestão. Esse processo levou à criação de um grupo de gestão local, que tem o potencial de implementar o plano de desenvolvimento sustentável.

Abstract Social participation enriches decision-making and is considered a civil right in many democratic countries, despite remaining a challenge. This paper presents evidence and discusses the evolution of social participation in the Araçá Bay (Southeastern Brazil), as a result of participatory action-research. Over three years, a process of social mobilization and participatory environmental assessment and planning engaged local stakeholders and resulted in a sustainable development plan. Enhanced social participation was evidenced by: (1) building trust among participants; (2) increasing knowledge of social-ecological features of Araçá Bay; (3) acknowledging different perspectives and interests about the bay; and (4) improving the understanding of management dynamics and institutions. The process led to the emergence of a local stewarded group that has the potential to foster the implementation of the sustainable development plan.

Resumen Participación social califica la toma de decisiones, y aunque se considera un derecho civil en muchas democracias, sigue siendo un desafío. El artículo presenta evidencias y discute cambios en la participación social de una comunidad costera en Brasil (Bahía de Araçá), como resultado de una investigación de acción-participativa. Durante tres años, se desarrolló un proceso de movilización social, diagnóstico y planificación participativa, que produjo un plan de acción. La evidencia de una mayor participación social de los interesados fue: (1) generar confianza entre participantes; (2) mayor conocimiento de las características socioecológicas de la bahía; (3) reconocimiento de las diferentes perspectivas en la bahía; (4) comprensión de los procesos e instituciones de gestión. Este proceso ha llevado a la creación de un grupo local de gestión, que tiene el potencial de implementar el plan de desarrollo sostenible.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Estimar os anos de vida perdidos pela população brasileira devido ao câncer de boca e faringe de 1979 a 2013 e analisar a tendências temporais no período estudado, segundo região do país, sexo e sítio anatômico. MÉTODOS Os registros de óbitos foram obtidos do Sistema de Informações sobre Mortalidade e os dados referentes à população, dos censos do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística de 1980, 1991, 2000, 2010 e de estimativas intercensitárias para os demais anos. Foram calculadas as taxas de anos de vida potencialmente perdidos aplicando o método sugerido por Romeder e McWhinnie, e suas tendências foram calculadas usando o método de Prais-Winsten com correção para autocorrelação de primeira ordem. As séries históricas foram alisadas com técnica de média móvel central de ordem 3 para redução de ruído branco. RESULTADOS No período de 1979 a 2013 no Brasil, houve um total de 107.506 mortes prematuras devido ao câncer de boca e faringe, o que gerou um total de 1.589.501 anos potenciais de vida perdidos, equivalendo a uma taxa de 3,6 por 10.000 habitantes. O sexo masculino, com uma taxa seis vezes maior que a do sexo feminino, contribuiu com 85% dos anos perdidos. As tendências das taxas de anos de vida perdidos mostraram aumento anual de 0,72% nos homens, 1,13% nas mulheres e 1,05% para o câncer de faringe. CONCLUSÕES A taxa de anos potenciais de vida perdidos por câncer de boca e faringe no país mostrou tendência de aumento dentro do período estudado em ambos os sexos, assim como para o câncer de faringe e para as regiões Norte, Nordeste e Centro-Oeste.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To estimate the years of life lost by the Brazilian population due to mouth and pharynx cancer from 1979 to 2013, and analyze the temporal trends in the studied period, according to the country’s region, sex and anatomical site. METHODS The death records were obtained from the Mortality Information System and the data referring to the population, from the censuses of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics of 1980, 1991, 2000, 2010, and from intercensal estimates for the other years. The rates of potential years of life lost were calculated by applying the method suggested by Romeder and McWhinnie, and their trends were calculated using the Prais-Winsten method with first-order autocorrelation. The historical series were smoothed with the centered moving average technique of third order for white noise reduction. RESULTS In the period from 1979 to 2013 in Brazil, there were a total of 107,506 premature deaths due to mouth and pharynx cancer, which generated a total of 1,589,501 potential years of life lost, the equivalent to a rate of 3.6 per 10,000 inhabitants. Males, whose rate was six times higher than for females, contributed with 85% of the years lost. The trends in the rates of years of life lost showed an annual 0.72% increase for men, 1.13% for women and 1.05% for pharynx cancer. CONCLUSIONS The rate of potential years of life lost due to mouth and pharynx cancer in the country showed an upward trend within the studied period for both sexes, as well as for pharynx cancer and for the North, Northeast and Midwest regions.

ABSTRACT During seed production, nutrients (nitrogen) and climatic conditions (water) can affect their physiological quality. Therefore, the influence of common bean cultivation with the use of more sustainable techniques such as co-inoculation with nitrogen-fixing bacteria and the reduction of the irrigation depth on the quality of the seed produced should be analyzed. The objective of this study was to evaluate the physiological quality of seeds coming from the common bean cultivation submitted to inoculation and co-inoculation with Rhizobium tropici and Azospirillum brasilense under two irrigation depths. The experiment conducted in the field consisted of randomized blocks with a split-plot design with two irrigation depths as plots (recommended and 75% of the recommended) and five forms of nitrogen supply as subplots (control non-inoculated with 40 kg ha- 1 of nitrogen in topdressing; control non-inoculated with 80 kg ha- 1 of N in topdressing; A. brasilense inoculation with 40 kg ha-1 of N in topdressing; R. tropici inoculation with 40 kg ha-1 of N in topdressing; and co-inoculation of A. brasilense and R. tropici with 40 kg ha- 1 of N in topdressing). Common bean cultivation with 40 kg ha-1 of N in topdressing without inoculation provides satisfactory physiological quality of seeds, and there is no need to apply higher doses of nitrogen and inoculation. Bean seeds can be produced with the recommended 75% depth, without decrease their quality.

RESUMO Durante a produção de sementes, os nutrientes (nitrogênio) e condições climáticas (água) podem afetar a sua qualidade fisiológica. A influência do cultivo do feijoeiro com a utilização de técnicas mais sustentáveis como a co-inoculação com bactérias fixadoras de nitrogênio e a redução da lâmina de irrigação sobre a qualidade da semente produzida deve ser analisada. Objetivou-se avaliar a qualidade fisiológica de sementes oriundas do cultivo de feijão submetido à inoculação e co-inoculação com Rhizobium tropici e Azospirillum brasilense sob duas lâminas de irrigação. O delineamento experimental em campo foi em blocos casualizados com tratamentos dispostos em esquema de parcelas subdivididas. Nas parcelas foram alocadas as duas lâminas de irrigação (recomendada para o feijão e 75% da recomendada) e nas subparcelas foram alocadas as cinco formas de fornecimento de nitrogênio (testemunha sem inoculação com 40 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura; 80 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura sem inoculação; inoculação de A. brasilense com 40 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura; inoculação de R. tropici com 40 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura; e co-inoculação de A. brasilense e R. tropici com 40 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura), com quatro repetições. O cultivo do feijoeiro com aplicação de 40 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura sem inoculação proporciona qualidade fisiológica de sementes satisfatória, não havendo a necessidade de aplicação de maiores doses de nitrogênio e inoculação. As sementes de feijoeiro podem ser produzidas com a lâmina de 75% da recomenda, sem diminuição da sua qualidade.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Analisar a tendência das taxas de mortalidade por câncer de boca e de faringe no período de 2002–2013 no Brasil segundo sexo, sítio anatômico e macrorregião do país. MÉTODOS Os dados sobre mortalidade foram obtidos junto ao Sistema de Informações sobre Mortalidade e os dados das populações foram obtidos junto ao Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística. A tendência das taxas padronizadas por sexo e faixa etária foi calculada por regressão de Prais-Winstein, obtendo a sua variação percentual anual e os respectivos intervalos de confiança de 95%, analisados segundo sexo, macrorregião e sítio anatômico. RESULTADOS O coeficiente médio de mortalidade por câncer de boca foi de 1,87/100.000 habitantes e permaneceu estável durante o período estudado. O coeficiente de mortalidade por câncer de faringe foi de 2,04/100.000 habitantes e apresentou variação percentual anual de -2,6%. Aproximadamente oito em cada 10 óbitos ocorreram entre homens. Observou-se aumento nas taxas por câncer de boca na região Nordeste (variação percentual anual de 6,9%) e diminuição na região Sudeste (variação percentual anual -2,9%). Mortalidade por câncer de faringe diminuiu nas regiões Sudeste e Sul com variação percentual anual de -4,8% e -5,1% respectivamente. Mortalidade por câncer de amígdala, outras glândulas salivares maiores, hipofaringe e outras partes não especificas de boca e faringe, apresentaram tendência de declínio enquanto os demais sítios apresentaram estabilidade. CONCLUSÕES A mortalidade por câncer de faringe apresentou diminuição no período 2002–2013. O câncer de boca apresentou aumento só na região Nordeste. Mortalidade por câncer de amígdala, outras glândulas maiores, hipofaringe e outras localizações mal definidas de lábio, cavidade oral e faringe mostraram declínio.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To analyze the trend of oral and pharyngeal cancer mortality rates in the period of 2002 to 2013 in Brazil according to sex, anatomical site, and macroregion of the country. METHODS The mortality data were obtained from the Mortality Information System and the population data were obtained from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. The trend of the rates standardized by sex and age was calculated using the Prais-Winsten estimation, and we obtained the annual percentage change and the respective 95% confidence intervals, analyzed according to sex, macroregion, and anatomical site. RESULTS The average coefficient of oral cancer mortality was 1.87 per 100,000 inhabitants and it remained stable during the study period. The coefficient of pharyngeal cancer mortality was 2.04 per 100,000 inhabitants and it presented an annual percentage change of -2.6%. Approximately eight in every 10 deaths occurred among men. There was an increase in the rates of oral cancer in the Northeast region (annual percentage change of 6.9%) and a decrease in the Southeast region (annual percentage change of -2.9%). Pharyngeal cancer mortality decreased in the Southeast and South regions with annual percentage change of -4.8% and -5.1% respectively. Cancer mortality for tonsil, other major salivary glands, hypopharynx, and other and unspecified parts of mouth and pharynx showed a decreasing trend while the other sites presented stability. CONCLUSIONS Pharyngeal cancer mortality decreased in the period of 2002 to 2013. Oral cancer increased only in the Northeast region. Mortality for tonsil cancer, other major salivary glands, hypopharynx, and other and ill-defined sites in the lip, oral cavity, and pharynx decreased.

Mortalidade por câncer de amígdala, outras glândulas salivares maiores, hipofaringe e outras partes não especificas de boca e faringe, apresentaram tendência de declínio enquanto os demais sítios apresentaram estabilidade. CONCLUSÕES A mortalidade por câncer de faringe apresentou diminuição no período 2002–2013. O câncer de boca apresentou aumento só na região Nordeste. Mortalidade por câncer de amígdala, outras glândulas maiores, hipofaringe e outras localizações mal definidas de lábio, cavidade oral e faringe mostraram declínio.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To analyze the trend of oral and pharyngeal cancer mortality rates in the period of 2002 to 2013 in Brazil according to sex, anatomical site, and macroregion of the country. METHODS The mortality data were obtained from the Mortality Information System and the population data were obtained from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. The trend of the rates standardized by sex and age was calculated using the Prais-Winsten estimation, and we obtained the annual percentage change and the respective 95% confidence intervals, analyzed according to sex, macroregion, and anatomical site. RESULTS The average coefficient of oral cancer mortality was 1.87 per 100,000 inhabitants and it remained stable during the study period. The coefficient of pharyngeal cancer mortality was 2.04 per 100,000 inhabitants and it presented an annual percentage change of -2.6%. Approximately eight in every 10 deaths occurred among men. There was an increase in the rates of oral cancer in the Northeast region (annual percentage change of 6.9%) and a decrease in the Southeast region (annual percentage change of -2.9%). Pharyngeal cancer mortality decreased in the Southeast and South regions with annual percentage change of -4.8% and -5.1% respectively. Cancer mortality for tonsil, other major salivary glands, hypopharynx, and other and unspecified parts of mouth and pharynx showed a decreasing trend while the other sites presented stability. CONCLUSIONS Pharyngeal cancer mortality decreased in the period of 2002 to 2013. Oral cancer increased only in the Northeast region. Mortality for tonsil cancer, other major salivary glands, hypopharynx, and other and ill-defined sites in the lip, oral cavity, and pharynx decreased.

RESUMO: Objetivo: Investigar a polifarmácia em idosos residentes na área urbana de Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brasil, estimando a prevalência e os fatores a ela associados. Métodos: Foi realizado um estudo transversal de base populacional em uma amostra de 1.705 idosos, entre 2009 e 2010. A variável dependente foi polifarmácia (definida como “uso de cinco ou mais medicamentos”). Utilizaram-se variáveis sociodemográficas, uso de serviços de saúde e autoavaliação de saúde como exploratórias. Foram estimadas razões de prevalência (RP) por meio de análise multivariada utilizando-se da regressão de Poisson. Resultados: A média do uso de medicamentos por idosos foi de 3,8 (variando entre 0 e 28). A prevalência de polifarmácia foi de 32%, com intervalo de confiança de 95% (IC95%) 29,8 - 34,3. As características que apresentaram associação positiva com polifarmácia foram: sexo feminino (RP = 1,27; IC95% 1,03 - 1,57), aumento da idade (RP = 1,38; IC95% 1,08 - 1,77), autoavaliação de saúde negativa (RP = 1,99; IC95% 1,59 - 2,48) e realização de consulta médica nos últimos 3 meses anteriores à entrevista (RP = 1,89; IC95% 1,53 - 2,32). Os grupos de medicamentos mais utilizados pelos idosos na polifarmácia foram os indicados para o sistema cardiovascular, trato alimentar e metabolismo e sistema nervoso. Conclusão: O padrão de uso de medicamentos por idosos está dentro da média nacional. A prevalência de polifarmácia e as características a ela associadas foram semelhantes aos achados em outras regiões do Brasil.

The prevalence of polypharmacy was 32%, with 95% confidence interval (95% CI) 29.8 - 34.3. The characteristics presenting a positive association with polypharmacy were: female gender (PR = 1.27; 95%CI 1.03 - 1.57), increasing age (PR = 1.38; 95% CI 1.08 - 1.77), negative self-rated health status (PR = 1.99; 95% CI 1.59 - 2.48) and medical appointments in the 3 months prior to the interview (PR = 1.89; 95% CI 1.53 - 2.32). ABSTRACT Objective: analyze the implementation process of the human milk bank of a university hospital in the state of Espírito Santo and discuss the implications of this deployment to the regional nursing practice. Method: in this historical and social search the primary sources were interviews conducted with eight nurses, and documents from the nursing section. The thematic content analysis and the theoretical framework of Pierre Bourdieu allowed mediation of the objective and subjective dimensions of the social world. Results: it was evidenced that the milk bank was designed in 1993 and implemented in 1994 by three nurses and a doctor. In its historical path, the human milk bank had the participation of nurses involved in knowledge-power relations marked by symbolic violence and resistance to the hegemonic medical power of the time. Conclusion: it was concluded that the implementation of a human milk bank did not happen as anticipated by the public policy of the time, which was the result of a complex power game involving health professionals and the institution itself.

RESUMEN Objetivo: analizar el proceso de implantación del banco de leche humano de un hospital universitario del Estado de Espírito Santo y discutir las implicaciones de esa implantación para la enfermería local son los objetivos de este estudio. Metodo: es una Investigación histórico-social. Las fuentes primarias fueron testimonios de ocho enfermeras, documentos del acervo de la División de Enfermería. El análisis de contenido temático y el marco teórico de Pierre Bourdieu permitió mediar en las dimensiones objetivas y subjetivas del mundo social. Resultados: el banco de leche fue concebido en 1993 y ejecutado en 1994 por tres enfermeras y una médica. En su trayectoria histórica, el bancos de leche humano contó con la participación de enfermeras implicadas en relaciones de saber-poder demarcadas por violencias simbólicas y resistencias al poder médico hegemónico de la época. Conclusión: la implantación del bancos de leche humano no aconteció como previa la política pública para ese fin, resultado de un complejo juego de poder involucrando los profesionales de la salud y la propia institución.

Método: pesquisa histórico-social, cujas fontes primárias foram depoimentos de oito enfermeiras, documentos dos acervos da Divisão de Enfermagem. A análise de conteúdo temático e o referencial teórico de Pierre Bourdieu permitiram mediar as dimensões objetivas e subjetivas do mundo social. Resultado: evidenciou-se que o banco de leite foi idealizado em 1993 e implantado em 1994, por três enfermeiras e uma médica. Em sua trajetória histórica contou com a participação de enfermeiras envolvidas em relações de saber-poder demarcadas por violências simbólicas e resistências ao poder médico hegemônico da época. Conclusão: conclui-se que a implantação do banco de leite não aconteceu como previa a política pública para esse fim, resultado de um complexo jogo de poder, envolvendo os profissionais da saúde e a própria instituição.

Resumo Objetivo: Analisar os primeiros anos do estágio em enfermagem psiquiátrica da Escola Anna Nery (EAN) no Instituto de Psiquiatria da Universidade do Brasil (IPUB). Metodologia: Estudo documental, cujas fontes foram documentos escritos e orais pertencentes ao acervo da EAN. O marco inicial (1954) refere-se ao início das atividades práticas de enfermagem psiquiátrica da EAN no IPUB e, o marco final (1962), ao ano em que se instalou uma crise na disciplina de Enfermagem Psiquiátrica. Resultados: Chegou-se as seguintes categorias temáticas: Contexto da inserção do estágio de Enfermagem Psiquiátrica da EAN no IPUB; Desenvolvimento do estágio em enfermagem psiquiátrica no IPUB; Crise no ensino de Enfermagem Psiquiátrica na EAN; Desdobramentos para superar a crise da assistência de enfermagem na EAN/IPUB. Conclusão: A presença da EAN no espaço do IPUB, proporcionou avanços na assistência técnica-científica e no ensino de enfermagem psiquiátrica.

Abstract Objective: To analyze the early years of internship course in psychiatric nursing of the Escola Anna Nery (EAN) at the Instituto de Psiquiatria da Universidade do Brasil (IPUB). Methodology: Documentary study, which sources were oral and written documents belonging to the collection of EAN. The starting point (1954) refers to the beginning of psychiatric nursing practice activities of EAN at IPUB, and the end point (1962), the year in which was installed a crisis in Psychiatric Nursing discipline. Results: The following thematic categories emerged: Context of the insertion of Psychiatric Nursing internship of EAN in IPUB; Development of training course in Psychiatric Nursing in IPUB; Psychiatric Nursing education crisis in EAN; Developments to overcome the crisis in nursing care in the EAN/IPUB. Conclusion: The presence of EAN in IPUB, provided advances in technical and scientific assistance and in psychiatric nursing education.

Resumen Objetivo: Analizar los primeros años del curso de capacitación en enfermería psiquiátrica de la Escola Anna Nery (EAN) en el Instituto de Psiquiatría de la Universidade do Brasil (IPUB). Metodología: Estudio documental, cuyas fuentes fueron documentos escritos y orales de la colección de EAN. El punto de partida (1954) se refiere al inicio de las actividades prácticas de enfermería psiquiátrica de EAN en IPUB, y el marco final (1962), al año en el que se instala una crisis en la disciplina de enfermería psiquiátrica. Resultados: Emergieron las siguientes categorías temáticas: Contexto de la inserción de la práctica en Enfermería Psiquiátrica de EAN en IPUB; Desarrollo de la práctica en IPUB; Crisis en la enseñanza en EAN; Desarrollos para superar la crisis en la asistencia de enfermería en EAN/IPUB. Conclusión: La presencia de EAN en el espacio IPUB, ha proporcionado avances en la asistencia técnica-científica y la enseñanza de enfermería psiquiátrica.
