Comunicação com o paciente: o teórico e o concreto na enfermagem de âmbito hospitar

Resumos

Este trabalho tem como objetivo quantificar as interações verbais do paciente com seus pares e com o grupo da enfermagem e identificar sua distribuição entre as áreas expressiva e instrumental. A partir do registro da comunicação verbal de dez pacientes com seus pares e com o grupo da enfermagem, cada paciente foi submetido a observação por um período aproximado de quarenta horas. O referencial teórico utilizado foi o de Bales. Os resultados apontaram predominância significativa da comunicação instrumental dos sujeitos estudados com seus pares e com o grupo da enfermagem, indicando que este grupo tem privilegiado o seu foco secundário de atuação. As técnicas, em detrimento do seu foco central é a manutenção de relações interpessoais visando ao atendimento do paciente como pessoa, pessoa.

The objective of this study was to quantify the verbal interaction of the patient with his ward mates and with the nursing staff, as well as to identify its distribution between the expressive and instrumental areas. Verbal communication of 10 patients with their ward mates and with the nursing staff has been recorded. Each patient has been observed for nearly 40 hours. The referencial theory of Bales has been used. The results indicate a significant prevalence of instrumental communication of the subjects studied with his ward mates and with the nurses, which indicate that this nursing staff acted in terms of their secondary focus. The techniques, concerning to their central focus is the maintenance of interpersonal relationships focusing the pacient as an individual

RESUMO

Este trabalho tem como objetivo quantificar as interações verbais do paciente com seus pares e com o grupo da enfermagem e identificar sua distribuição entre as áreas expressiva e instrumental. ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to quantify the verbal interaction of the patient with his ward mates and with the nursing staff, as well as to identify its distribution between the expressive and instrumental areas.
