Contexto Internacional is a journal designed to promote and disseminate the debate on international politics.
It is a reference on international relations in Brazil. The magazine had a historic role in the development of international relations in the country and was one of the first means of dissemination associated with a program of instruction and research in one of the leading universities in the country.

The journal aims to promote and publicize the academic debate in the field of international relations, bringing together new works of Brazilian and foreign authors. All the articles will be submitted to opinions of experts depending on their approval for being published.

The editorial policy of Contexto Internacional provides that works must be of academic interest and represent a new thinking in the field of international relations. The magazine aims to enable the participation of Brazilian specialists in the major theoretical and thematic discussions of the discipline of international relations and their disciplinary interfaces. Articles that discuss international policy issues and contribute to an understanding of the plurality of perspectives present in the academic Field are published.

Its abbreviated title is Contexto int., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
