Basic information

Contexto Internacional is a journal designed to promote and disseminate debate on international politics.
The journal is a reference on international relations in Brazil. It played a historic role in the development of the discipline of international relations in the country, and was one of the first periodicals associated with a leading graduate programme in Brazil

The journal aims to promote and advance academic production in the field of international relations, bringing together the latest work from Brazilian and international authors. All submissions fulfilling logic criteria are subject to double-blind peer-review.

The editorial policy of Contexto Internacional stipulates that submission should be of academic interest and represent innovative thinking in the field of international relations. Articles that discuss international policy issues and contribute to an understanding of the plurality of perspectives present in the academic Field are preferred.

Its abbreviated title is Contexto int., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
