To describe the experience of a training course aimed at the prevention of STD/AIDS. |
Master's Students |
Training workshops developed by psychologists. The course had 15h duration and lasted three weeks, having been made up of five 3h meetings, with workshops on sexuality, STD/AIDS, drugs and development of projects. Activities were carried out based on a participatory and problematization methodology. Experiential techniques related to vulnerability, prevention, health promotion and protagonism were discussed. Multiplying agents were trained, and a space for education/reflection was created with the aim of raising awareness on the emotions and values involved, as well as on the knowledge related to the prevention of STD/AIDS. |

The project resulted in the creation of a health and welfare bureau, occupational medicine programs, graduate courses on management and evaluation of lifestyles, reports with the assessment of risk prevalence and evaluation proposals.
