This text attempts to define several movements which the work of Blanchot gave to the notion of neuter. It evoques Barthes' regards on these conceptions and perceptions. It announces a study on Clarice Lispector's use of "the great living neutrality" (A paixão segundo G.H., " The passion according to G.H."), and has the goal of showing to what extent, irrespective of their objective lack of knowledge of one another, the uses they make of the neuter are similar.
