The limits and possibilities of intervention on the bodies (and population) constitute a debate that has mobilized agents, knowledge and diverse institutions. In this case, I focused this issue within the medical order, highlighting its crossings with the field of education. In order to do so, I have analyzed aspects of this problem, to give a view of an indoctrination strategy and how the problem of the body is represented in a manual used in medical training. This exercise makes it possible to understand a device that rationalizes and legitimizes certain procedures about life and bodies.
