After formulating a relational conception of language in On Truth and Lying in a Non-Moral Sense, Nietzsche only rarely associates the concept of language with the concept of relation explicitly, as it occurs in a posthumous fragment from 1888. However, we would like to propose that at any moment the philosopher abandons his relational conception of language; on the other hand, it seems that in the course of his work this conception undergoes modifications, which must be identified.
