ABSTRACT
In this paper, reflections are made about the German resistance against national-socialism, its possibilities and acts. The historiographical basis and the conceptual debate are particularly focused on German historiography (especially on the West and reunified German) on the processes and on the forms of resistance against Hitler’s regime that can be observed in that period. In addition to the historical character of the resistances, some of the main controversies and specific issues of the theme are presented, which are also inherently linked with a certain memory of the period that has been under construction, particularly since 1967.
