Resumos

A constituição de um paradigma baseado nas novas tecnologias de informação e da microeletrônica tem sido amplamente discutida ao longo das últimas décadas. Suas implicações sobre os padrões organizacionais da indústria, contudo, ainda não estão suficientemente claras. O objetivo do presente trabalho é contribuir para esse debate, analisando os impactos das transformações produtivas e tecnológicas recentes sobre os padrões organizacionais da indústria. Argumenta-se que esses padrões tornam-se mais flexíveis e adaptáveis, uma vez que o ambiente institucional e as relações entre organizações adquirem maior relevância para o sucesso dos empreendimentos. Assim, o novo modelo não assume um formato rígido e estanque, adaptando-se às características de realidades muito diversas. Afirma-se que essa diversidade deve ser levada em consideração na formulação de políticas de desenvolvimento local.

A technological paradigm built around the new informational technologies and the microelectronics has been largely discussed in the past decades. Its impacts on the industrial organizational pattern, however, are not sufficiently clear yet. The aim of this paper is to enhance this discussion, examining the effects of the recent productive and technological changes in the industrial organizational patterns. It is argued that these patterns turn out to be more flexible and adaptable, as the institutional environment and the relationships between organizations become more important to succeed. The new model, then, do not take an inflexible and unchangeable configuration, as it has to be adapted to many different realities. It is alleged that this diversity should be taken into consideration for local development policies.

Suas implicações sobre os padrões organizacionais da indústria, contudo, ainda não estão suficientemente claras. O objetivo do presente trabalho é contribuir para esse debate, analisando os impactos das transformações produtivas e tecnológicas recentes sobre os padrões organizacionais da indústria. Argumenta-se que esses padrões tornam-se mais flexíveis e adaptáveis, uma vez que o ambiente institucional e as relações entre organizações adquirem maior relevância para o sucesso dos empreendimentos. ABSTRACT

A technological paradigm built around the new informational technologies and the microelectronics has been largely discussed in the past decades. Its impacts on the industrial organizational pattern, however, are not sufficiently clear yet.
