Este trabalho se propõe discutir concepções e práticas de cuidado de psicólogos que atuam no campo das políticas sociais, especificamente no âmbito da Saúde (SUS) e Assistência Social (SUAS) e suas interfaces com os modos de governo e gestão da vida produzidos no contexto biopolítico contemporâneo. O estudo foi realizado em 05 localidades que contam simultaneamente em seu território com Unidades Básicas de Saúde/UBS e Centros de Referência da Assistência Social/CRAS. Acompanhamos o cotidiano e a rotina dos psicólogos que atuam nesses serviços a partir da observação participante e realização de entrevistas. Identificamos que os modos de cuidado produzidos nesses campos pelos profissionais da psicologia indicam tanto uma adesão a um ideal de produzir sujeitos autônomos, produtivos, saudáveis e conscientes dos seus direitos, logo se configurando como práticas normativas, quanto expressam tentativas de ruptura com o estabelecido.Resumo em Inglês:
The purpose of this study is to discuss the care conceptions and practices of psychologists that work in the area of social policy, specifically in health (Unified Health System) and in social assistance (Unified Social Assistance System), and its interfaces with the modes of government and life management produced in the contemporary bio-political context. The study was accomplished in five localities that have in their territories Basic Health Units and Referral Centers for Social Assistance. Using participant observation and interviews, we accompanied the daily routine of the psychologists that work in these services. We identified that these professionals produced modes of care that indicate an adherence to the ideal production of subjects that are autonomous, productive and healthful, and that are aware of their rights, thereby constituting normative practices that express attempts at rupturing with the establishment.Resumo em Português:
O artigo propõe pensar o tema do cuidado a partir da noção de alteridade, afirmando uma ética do cuidado em saúde que requer exposição ao outro. Inicia trazendo elementos da história da infância para revelar suas imagens na passagem do tempo, não uma fixação conceitual. Destaca o momento de uma imagem de desvalor da criança e a exclusão da infância, projetando essa imagem para o desvalor e rejeição do contato com a alteridade. Em substituição às representações da criança, um vir-a-ser do adulto ou promessa de futuro, o artigo recorre ao conceito de Guattari e Deleuze de devir-criança para propor um cuidado que não remete às exigências do futuro, mas às experimentações em que a criança-em-nós exerce suas potências, compondo-se com os diferentes meios com que convive. Dois filmes brasileiros, Central do Brasil e Abril Despedaçado, por meio de suas imagens e personagens criança, dão corpo a essa proposta.Resumo em Inglês:
The article proposes to think the subject of the care from the alterity notion, affirming an ethic of health care that requires exposure to the other. It starts bringing elements from the history of childhood to reveal their images in the passage of time, not a conceptual fixation. Highlights the moment of an image of depreciation of the child and the exclusion of infancy, projecting this image for the depreciation and the rejection of the contact with the alterity. In substitution to the representation of the child, a come-to-be of the adult or promise of the future, the article appeals to the concept of Guattari and Deleuze of becoming-child to propose a care that does not remit to the demands of the future, but to the experimentations in which the child-in-us exerts its powers, composing itself with the different ambients with which coexist. Two Brazilian movies, Central do Brasil and Abril Despedaçado, through its images and child characters, embody this proposal.Resumo em Português:
Tendo como foco discutir concepções de juventudes que se expressam em políticas públicas para jovens no Brasil, concentramos nossa pesquisa no Consórcio Social da Juventude. A partir da perspectiva da Psicologia Social, usamos como estratégia metodológica a problematização e como ferramenta teórica conceitos de Michel Foucault. Buscamos compreender como as práticas discursivas instituídas em políticas públicas definem e denominam parcelas da juventude. Ao problematizarmos as tensões elencadas do material analisado, discutimos quatro concepções de juventude: voluntária, digitalizada, trabalhadora e vulnerabilizada. Estas se constituíram em profícuos indicadores de análise para a problematização dos enunciados dos documentos e entrevistas. A análise sinalizou o quanto as políticas públicas de juventude estão inseridas em uma rede discursiva que desenha, forma e institui modos de viver de jovens - de baixa renda - na contemporaneidade. Observamos que, de forma generalizada, discursos de educação, cidadania, inclusão, entre outros, operam, principalmente, para legitimar programas de políticas públicas.Resumo em Inglês:
Focusing on concepts of youth expressed in government policies for young people in Brazil, we concentrated our research in the Consórcio Social da Juventude - a national project developed by the Brazilian Government. From the Social Psychology perspective, we used the problematization as a methodological strategy and concepts of Michel Foucault as theoretical tools. We sought to comprehend how the discoursive practices installed in government policies define and establish portions of young people. Problematizing the tensions verified in the material analysed, we discussed four concepts of young people: volunteer, digitalized, worker and vulnerabilized. They turned into proficuous indicators of analysis for the proposed problematization. The analysis suggests how government policies are inserted in a discoursive net that designs and constitutes ways of living of young people - especially those of low income. We observed that discourses of education, citizenship, inclusion, among others, operate to offer credibility to programmes of government policies for young people.Resumo em Português:
O momento é emblemático para as políticas públicas em saúde no Brasil, pois os novos modelos de atenção, que rompem com a lógica da psiquiatria tradicional, já estão implementados, mas sua legitimação e consistência teórico-metodológica precisam ainda ser consolidadas na práxis coletiva. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste estudo é estabelecer reflexões sobre as práticas nos novos dispositivos de atenção à saúde, como os CAPS - Álcool e Drogas e sua relação com as políticas realizadas pelo Ministério da Saúde. Sustentado em estudo do tipo exploratório descritivo, baseado na análise de 1122 prontuários do CAPSad da cidade de Blumenau-SC, nos anos de 2005 e 2007, o presente trabalho traçou o perfil dos usuários desse serviço. We are living an emblematic moment for the public policies for Mental Health in Brazil. This is due to the fact that the legal apparatus and the new models for medical care, which do not follow the hospital centered logic and traditional psychiatry, have already been implemented, although their legitimation and theoretical-methodological consistency still need to be consolidated by the collective praxis. In this context, this article aims at reflecting about the practices adopted in the new health care devices, particularly in the Psychosocial Care Center - Alcohol and Drugs, as well as its relation with the prerogatives of the policies held by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. In this article we present a descriptive exploratory study based on the analysis of data from 1122 medical records from CAPSad in Blumenau-SC between 2005 and 2007, which contributed to define a profile of the users of this service. Univariate statistical analyses as well as bivariate analyses have been used. Based on the description of this data, we have included discussions comparing the data gathered and the propositions of the Psychiatric Reform.Resumo em Português:
Estudo relacionado à avaliação de serviços em saúde mental, neste caso, o Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infantil - CAPSi, do município de Cascavel-PR, serviço substitutivo implementado a partir da transformação da assistência psiquiátrica no Brasil. Objetivou avaliar qualitativamente o CAPSi. Os participantes foram 10 profissionais de saúde que atuam no CAPSi, sendo que os dados foram analisados sob a técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC) (Lefèvre & Lefèvre, 2003). Como resultado, construíram-se 06 DSC e destacaram-se 12 temas geradores de significações: bom atendimento, estrutura física, recursos humanos, rede de serviços, acesso, referência, organização do serviço, família, atende as políticas de saúde mental, demanda, capacitação, redefinição de serviços, qualidade do serviço, papel do CAPSi e rotatividade de recursos humanos. Com base nos DSC o atendimento prestado no CAPSi é de boa qualidade, porém existem dificuldades de estrutura administrativa.Resumo em Inglês:
This study is related to the evaluation of mental health services, in this case, the Child Psychosocial Care Center - (Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infantil - CAPSi), in the city of Cascavel-PR, that is a substitute service implemented from the transformation of the psychiatric assistance in Brazil. It objectified to evaluate CAPSi qualitatively. The participants have been 10 health professionals who act in CAPSi, and the data has been analyzed under the technique of the General Subject Speech ( Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo - DSC) (Lefèvre & Lefèvre, 2003). As result, 06 DSC have been constructed and 12 meaning-generating themes have been distinguished: good attendance, physical structure, human resources, net of services, access, reference, organization of the service, family, respect for the mental health policies, demand, qualification, redefinition of services, quality of the service, role of the CAPSi and rotation of human resources. Based on the DSC, the attendance given at CAPSi is of good quality, however, difficulties of Administrative Structure exist.Resumo em Português:
O presente artigo apresenta e discute a polêmica, no campo da psicologia moral, sobre as relações entre juízo e ação. Teorias de tradição racionalista e estruturalista, como as de Piaget e Kohlberg, afirmam uma relação de continuidade entre juízo e ação moral e, ao mesmo tempo, lançam pontos de discussão sobre a complexidade envolvida no tema. Por outro lado, novas frentes de trabalho sugerem a integração de outros elementos (a cultura, a afetividade e o self), além das estruturas que podem compor um referencial com o qual se evidenciem as relações entre os aspectos envolvidos nas condutas morais. Por fim, apesar das críticas acenarem com caminhos promissores na pesquisa sobre o juízo e a ação moral, ainda existem limites na construção de referenciais teóricos e metodológicos que articulem diferentes perspectivas de análise psicológica da moralidade.Resumo em Inglês:
The attending article presents and discusses the debate within the cognitive constructivist theories, which have as main representatives Jean Piaget and Lawrence Kohlberg. Such theories of rationalist and structuralist tradition maintain continuity between judgment and moral action and, at the same time, launch points of discussion on the complexity involved in the theme. New work fronts suggest the integration of other elements: culture, affectionateness, and the self, beyond the structures that may compound a referential that explains the relations between the aspects involved in moral behavior. Lastly, despite the criticism indicating a promising path in the search about judgment and moral action, considering its complex character, there are still limits in the making of the theoretical and methodological frameworks that articulate different perspectives of moral psychological analyses.Resumo em Português:
Este artigo tem o objetivo de realizar uma trajetória da genealogia enquanto modo de escrever a história como pergunta/problema, de acordo com Michel Foucault, rompendo com uma história contínua, linear, teleológica, que buscava origens e semelhanças entre os objetos e as tentativas de estabelecer relações causais entre os acontecimentos. Uma história das práticas discursivas, de poder e subjetivação era a empreitada proposta por Foucault. A análise da proveniência e da emergência rompia com toda uma tradição historiográfica que fazia dos eventos memória e monumentos construídos e interpretados por categorias de semelhança. Foucault questiona este modelo de fazer história, trabalhando com novos temas e problemas e operando com a multiplicidade de acontecimentos dispersos, raros, heterogêneos, em recortes de séries de enunciados em arquivos, sem busca de origens primeiras e sem fins utilitaristas a alcançar.Resumo em Inglês:
This article aims to achieve a path of genealogy as a way to write history as question / problem, according to Michel Foucault, breaking with a continuous, linear, teleological history, which sought origins and similarities between objects and attempts to establish causal relationships between the events. A history of discursive practices, power and subjectivity was the contract proposed by Foucault. The analysis of the source and emergency broke with a whole historiographical tradition which made the events memory and monuments constructed and interpreted by categories of similarity. Foucault questions this model to make history, working with new issues and problems and working with the multiplicity of scattered, rare, heterogeneous events, in clippings of series of statements in files, without searching for early origins and without utilitarian goals to be achieved.Resumo em Português:

Por trás da desigualdade social há sofrimento, medo, humilhação, mas há também o extraordinário milagre humano da vontade de ser feliz e de recomeçar onde qualquer esperança parece morta. A Psicologia tem o dever de resguardar essa dimensão humana nas análises e intervenções sociais, desmentindo as clássicas imagens dos desvalidos contentando-se em se conservarem vivos. Assim, ela colabora com o aperfeiçoamento de políticas sociais, evitando mecanismos de inclusão social perversa. A concepção de afeto de Espinosa e a de liberdade de Vigotski são pressupostos importantes: um afeto que é a base da ética e da política; uma liberdade que exige a ação coletiva e não se confunde com livre-arbítrio, tendo por base a criatividade e a imaginação. Behind social inequality there is suffering, fear, humiliation, but there is also the extraordinary human miracle will to be happy and to start where any hope seems to be dead. Psychology has a duty to protect this human dimension in the analysis and social interventions, belying the classic images of the destitute ones being merely grateful for being alive. Thus, it collaborates with the development of social policies avoiding mechanisms of perverse social inclusion. The design of affection for Spinoza and of freedom for Vygotsky are major preconditions: an affection is the basis of ethics and politics, freedom requires collective action and it is not to be confused with freewill, based on creativity and imagination. From this perspective, one of the challenges of combating social inequality is to elucidate the affective / creative system which holds the servitude in the (inter) subjective and macro-political plans, to plan an ethical / aesthetic practice of social transformation.Resumo em Português:
A partir de memórias e experiências de militantes estudantis atuantes em diferentes épocas, este artigo reflete sobre a transformação do jovem em estudante e sobre o sentido político dessa passagem. Para o tema proposto, foi necessário fazer alguns apontamentos críticos sobre pesquisas atuais acerca da juventude, em especial naquilo que concerne às suas interpretações sobre a participação política dos jovens e às comparações que fazem entre diferentes épocas e contextos da política estudantil. Retomando obra clássica sobre o movimento estudantil, o texto aponta ainda a pertinência e atualidade do pensamento marxista para trazer à tona, em sua integridade, o sentido político da efervescência estudantil dos anos 1960. Para a discussão proposta, foi preciso também pontuar, ainda que de forma breve, transformações no ensino superior brasileiro, metamorfoses que sofreu e sofre no esteio das diferentes imposições do capital.Resumo em Inglês:
This article comes into being from the memories and experiences of student activists who played key roles at different points in time. It aims to reflect about the transformation of young adults into full-grown students, as well as the political meaning of this passage. In order to approach this theme, it was necessary to make some critical points in regards to current research on youth. These observations specifically focused on the interpretations made by these studies regarding the political involvement of young people as well as comparisons theses studies made between different time frames and contexts of student politics (student activism). By resourcing to a classic masterpiece on student movement, the present discussion points out how pertinent and timely Marxist thought still is. In doing so, it brings into light the political meaning of the student movement effervescence of the 1960's. Furthermore, it was also necessary to succinctly highlight the transformations that took place in Brazil's tertiary education (higher education) along with the metamorphosis it underwent - and still undergoes, as it comes across the impositions brought forth by capitalism.Resumo em Português:
Este trabalho pretendeu contribuir para o ensino da Psicologia Social no Brasil ao levantar os conteúdos e práticas do ensino dessa disciplina em cursos de psicologia de instituições localizadas em todas as regiões do país. A pesquisa consistiu no levantamento do material referente ao ensino da Psicologia Social, através de ementas, programas, de questionários e bibliografia indicada. 51 professores da disciplina Psicologia Social responderam a um questionário, e as informações referentes a ementas e programas foram coletadas junto às instituições. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo, organizados em tabelas e submetidos a testes estatísticos. O ensino de Psicologia Social se dá através de conceitos descritivos/fenômenos, onde são valorizados os temas da área, em detrimento das correntes teóricas, as práticas e os métodos que foram menos referidos/enfatizados. Interpretamos esses resultados como busca de "sensibilização" dos alunos do curso de Psicologia para os problemas sociais relacionados com a Psicologia Social.Resumo em Inglês:
This paper aimed at contributing to the education in Social Psychology in Brazil, raising the teaching contents/practices of such topic in courses of psychology in institutions located in all the regions of the country. The research consisted of the survey of diverse material related to the teaching of Social Psychology, through summaries, programs and questionnaires and the recommended bibliography. 51 professors of Social Psychology answered the questionnaire; and other information regarding summaries and programs was collected in institutions. The data was submitted to content analysis, organized in tables and statistically tested. The teaching of psychology is carried out drawing on descriptive concepts/phenomena, where topics of the field are more valued to the detriment of theoretical trends; hence practices and methods were less mentioned/emphasized. The results are interpreted as a search to raise psychology course students' awareness of the social problems related to social psychology.Resumo em Português:
A crescente violência cotidiana e insegurança social na Venezuela são percebidas como o problema nacional mais grave desta década e, ao mesmo tempo, um assunto vinculado à saúde publica. Junto ao Brasil e México, a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) classificou a Venezuela como um dos países com maior indicie de violência do planeta. Um aspecto menos notável é a violência simbólica. O objetivo deste estudo documental exploratório-hermêneutico foi abordar a violência social como um processo psico-socio-político-histórico, desde a psicologia social discursiva, a partir da análise do discurso político oficial do Presidente Hugo Chávez. O método utilizado foi a análise do discurso, aplicado a um corpus constituído por duas alocuções presidenciais, publicadas na Internet. Os resultados sugerem que o discurso político presidencial venezuelano reforçaria e legitimaria a violência social do país e proveria elementos fundamentais para construir identidades sociais irreconciliáveis.Resumo em Espanhol:
La creciente violencia cotidiana y la inseguridad social en Venezuela son percibidas como el problema nacional más grave de esta década y un serio asunto de salud pública. Junto con Brasil y México, la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) clasificó a Venezuela entre los países con mayor violencia del planeta. Un aspecto menos notorio del problema es la violencia simbólica. El objetivo de este estudio documental exploratorio-hermenéutico fue abordar la violencia social como proceso complejo psico-socio-político-histórico, desde la psicología social discursiva, a partir del análisis del discurso político oficial del Presidente Hugo Chávez. El método empleado fue el análisis del discurso, aplicado a un corpus constituido por dos alocuciones presidenciales, publicadas en Internet. The daily growth of violence and social insecurity in Venezuela are perceived as the most serious problems of this decade and a critical public health matter. The World Health Organization (WHO) classified Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela among the countries with the highest rates of violence in the world. Nevertheless, there is a less notorious aspect: symbolical violence. The aim of this study was to approach social violence as a psycho-socio-political-historical complex process, from a psychosocial discursive perspective. The starting point was the analysis of President Hugo Chávez's official political discourse. This is a documental exploratory and hermeneutical research: discourse analysis was the method applied on a corpus composed by two selected presidential allocutions published in the Internet. The results suggest that President Chavez's political discourse could reinforce and legitimize national social violence and provide fundamental elements to build emergent antagonist social identities.Resumo em Português:
Na busca de conceituação da noção de medo, os entrevistados da cidade de João Pessoa, capital do Estado da Paraíba, situaram o conceito a partir das vivências com o ambiente social onde estão situados e dividiram a noção medo em três categorias principais: a falta de fé, a falta de confiança e receio de errar e a falta de segurança pessoal ou familiar. In searching to conceptualize the notion of fear, the interviewed people from the city of João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba, Brazil, have pointed out the concept from the experiences with the social environment where they are situated, and have divided the notion of fear in three main categories: Lack of Faith, Lack of Reliability and Distrust to Failure and the Lack of Personal or Familiar Security. Este artigo discute a configuração da identidade profissional do Bombeiro Militar da região da grande Florianópolis, SC. Para contemplar tal objetivo geral, os objetivos específicos e o referencial teórico enfocaram: caracterização da profissão, identidade, trabalho, escolha profissional e qualidade de vida. Quanto ao método, a pesquisa definiu-se como exploratória e descritiva, delineada como um levantamento. Utilizou-se um questionário semi-aberto. Analisaram-se os dados quantitativa e qualitativamente. Participaram da pesquisa 266 Praças do 1º Batalhão do Corpo de Bombeiros. Por meio desta pesquisa, foi possível concluir que esses profissionais sentem-se realizados com sua profissão, muito embora possuam queixas, as quais não são sobre o conteúdo da profissão, mas sim sobre falta de condições para exercê-la e sobre aspectos organizacionais. Esses sujeitos "vivem" a profissão mesmo fora do seu horário de trabalho. Também foi possível verificar que, assim como as teorias afirmam, o trabalho é um fator constituinte da identidade do sujeito.Resumo em Inglês:
This article discourses the configuration of the professional identity of the Military Firemen from the region of the Greater Florianópolis, SC. To contemplate such general objective, the specific objectives and the theoretical referencial focused on: characterization of the profession, identity, work, professional choice and quality of life. As method, the research was defined as exploratory and descriptive, delineated as a survey. An half-open questionnaire was used. The data was analyzed in a qualitative and quantitative form. Participated in the research, 266 "praças" of the 1st Firemen Battalion. With this research, it was possible to conclude that these professionals feel themselves carried through with their profession although complaints exist, which are not on the content of the profession, but on the lack of conditions to fulfil it and on organizacional aspects. These citizens "live" the profession even outside their working hours. It was also possible to verify that, as well as the theories affirm, the work is a constituent factor of the identity of the citizen.Resumo em Português:
O presente texto discute as questões de gênero e aculturação, considerando suas implicações nas migrações internacionais. Pretende-se compreender as transformações ocorridas nas relações de gênero decorrentes do processo migratório e, como consequência, a renegociação que membros de famílias imigrantes fazem no que concerne aos papéis de gênero. Considera-se que a aculturação promove o questionamento das relações de gênero, desestabilizando formas de ser homem e mulher cristalizadas na sociedade de origem. Nesse sentido, sublinha-se o fato de que a interface entre o conceito de aculturação e o de gênero é essencial para discutir as relações de gênero nas migrações internacionais contemporâneas, tornando visíveis as experiências de mulheres anteriormente negligenciadas.Resumo em Inglês:
The present text discusses gender issues and acculturation, considering their implications in international migrations. We intend to learn the transformations occurred in gender relations after migration and consequently the renegotiating process that family members do regarding gender roles. We consider that acculturation fosters questions toward gender relations, disordering the traditional roles women and men play in their societies of origin. Therefore, we highlight the fact that the interface between acculturation concept and gender is essential to discuss gender relations in international migrations, making women's experience visible where they were previously neglected.Resumo em Português:
A partir de pesquisa realizada com profissionais do Programa de Inclusão Social (PIS), do Estado Mato Grosso do Sul, gestão 2003-2006, este artigo discute os sentidos do trabalho social, ressaltando sentidos da relação gênero e trabalho e da naturalização da participação da mulher no trabalho social. A pesquisa pautou-se por aportes da Psicologia Social, em diálogo com teorias de gênero e literatura sobre trabalho social. Apresentamos cinco conjuntos de sentidos do trabalho social, a saber: ajuda; promoção de direitos e transformação social; mercado profissional e gestão social; estratégia político-eleitoral e assistencialista. O quinto conjunto agrega sentidos das relações de gênero e incluem o afeto como instrumento de trabalho, o desapego financeiro e o não-profissionalismo. Based upon a research done with professionals of the Program for Social Inclusion (PIS), of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, during 2003-2006, the article discusses the meanings of social work, highlighting meanings of gender and work relationship and the naturalization of women's participation in the territory of social work. The research was developed under the perspective of Social Psychology, including dialogues with theories of gender and literature on social work. We present five sets of meanings assigned to this activity: social work as an aid, as an element of social change and rights promotion, as a professional category and social management, as a vote-seeking and aid-oriented strategy. The fifth set includes meanings produced within gender relationships such as: kindness as a work tool, lack of financial attachment and lack of professional skills. Although the positive aspects of this net, it also feeds a process of devaluation, invisibility and feminization of the social work.Resumo em Português:
Este artigo objetiva apresentar uma análise discursiva da telenovela Senhora do Destino (Rede Globo, 2004-2005). A postura construcionista, aliada a uma leitura feminista, permitiu compreender a noção de lesbianidade como uma construção social na qual os discursos e a linguagem empregados variam segundo o contexto social e histórico específico. O foco de análise se deu a partir das práticas discursivas, entendidas como linguagem em ação, sempre múltiplas, situadas e dialógicas. Os resultados desta pesquisa apontam para um duplo efeito na introdução da temática lesbianidade na novela. Se, de um lado, o processo de assimilação da categoria lésbica provoca uma maior "familiarização" na sociedade, bem como a circulação de códigos/modelos propiciam a legitimação de relações afetivo-sexuais entre pessoas do mesmo sexo, de outro, o modo como ocorrem os processos de legitimação/aceitação não propicia uma desestabilização de normas sociais e de modelos hegemônicos.Resumo em Inglês:
This article aims to present a discursive analysis of the soap opera Senhora do Destino (Rede Globlo, 2004-2005). The constructionist perspective together with a feminist reading allowed to understand the notion of lesbianity as a social construction in which the discourses and the language adopted vary according to the social and historical context. The analysis was centered on discursive practices, understood as language in action, always multiple, situated and dialogical versions of conversation. The results of this research suggest parallel effects of the introduction of the issue of lesbianity in the soap opera. On one hand, the process of assimilation of the lesbian category provokes a broader "familiarity" in society, as well as the presence of codes/models that allow the legitimacy of same sex relations. On the other hand, the legitimizing/acceptance processes occur in ways that do not provoke the destabilization of social norms and hegemonic models.Resumo em Português:
Ao longo da história, tempo e espaço mantiveram uma relação estável e equilibrada. Com a descoberta do vapor e de outras fontes de energia inanimada, nos séculos XVIII e XIX, há uma profunda mudança nesse quadro. O tempo é acelerado e essa aceleração se torna uma das principais características da modernidade. Nas últimas décadas do século XX, acontece outra transformação radical na relação tempo/espaço. As novas tecnologias de informação e telecomunicação, os transportes cada vez mais rápidos e a derrubada de fronteiras modernas instauram a era da instantaneidade, dos novos espaços virtuais e da fácil circulação de informação, pessoas e bens. Novos arranjos espaciais subvertem os existentes na modernidade; o espaço ganha proeminência. O presente artigo examina reflexões e pesquisas feitas sobre os espaços contemporâneos e oferece uma colaboração teórica calcada nos resultados de uma pesquisa sobre o uso de um conjunto de espaços virtuais e físicos por jovens brasileiros.Resumo em Inglês:
Throughout history, time and space maintained a stable and balanced relationship. With the discovery of steam and other sources of inanimate energy, in the 18th and 19th centuries, this picture changes dramatically. Time is accelerated and its acceleration becomes one of the central distinctive features of modern age. In the last decades of the 20th century, there is another radical transformation in the time/space relationship. The new information and telecommunication technologies, the increasingly faster means of transportation and the disappearance of many modern frontiers generate an era of instantaneous communication, virtual spaces and easy circulation of information, people and goods. New space arrangements which subvert the modern ones emerge; space becomes prominent. The present paper examines already published reflections and researches on contemporary spaces. It also offers a theoretical contribution based on the results of an investigation into the use of a host of virtual and physical spaces by young Brazilians.
