Tendências no campo da educação física brasileira. Análise dos documentos produzidos pela área 21 da Capes

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyse the documents produced by Area 21/Capes, identifying changes and trends occurred specifically to the field of Physical Education. All five published documents so far were analysed: 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2013. With the content analysis type methodology it was elaborated the building of five unities of meanings around four descriptive/analytical topics: Documents qualities; Document centrality; Agents; Conceptual demarcation. The data points that the documents from Area 21 were amplified and were made more complex along the analysed time frame. We conclude that the documents from Area 21 made an impact and structured the scientific activity on the field of Physical Education because they limitate the scientific capital values of this field inside the dispute of its agents and institutions.
