Abstract
This article seeks to retell the story of Gregory Bezerra, whose career is marked by his involvement in the communist movement throughout the twentieth century, through a singular aspect of his life: the fact of being a physical education teacher, formed a period strongly marked by militaristic trend. Through this passage the central character of this text, resignify the deal with historiography in Physical Education through trends and counter-trends.
