Comments about the 2006 Curricular Orientations for physics education

This article presents some comments about the new 2006 Curricular Orientations for High School Teaching. The main objective is to show and discuss some relevant differences between the preliminary and the official version of those documents, more specifically, about the notions of competences and modern physics teaching.
