The cultural industry invades the Brazilian school

Culture Industry invades school: This article deals with the culture industry, which nowadays is a most effective influence on the school system and on several social areas. Coined by Adorno and Horkheimer in the Dialectic of Enlightenment in 1947, this term denounces that in the relations of exchanging merchandise into which all social relations are reduced the cultural work loses its luminosity, its uniqueness, its especific qualities as value of use. By becoming a value of exchange it consumes the real art and culture.
