RESUMO O artigo objetiva compreender os desafios e apostas que surgem para a pesquisa-intervenção à distância com crianças e adolescentes a partir do uso de dispositivos digitais na pandemia da Covid-19. O método consistiu em entrevistas por meio de celulares e computadores com 18 crianças e adolescentes durante os meses de março a setembro de 2020. Os resultados indicam que a relacionalidade estabelecida entre pesquisador(a) e criança é afetada, sobretudo, pelas limitações devidas ao contato presencial. Por outro lado, verificou-se uma aposta no vínculo de confiança entre os envolvidos. Como conclusão, destaca-se a expansão do uso dos dispositivos digitais e, sobretudo, das chamadas de vídeo e de voz.

ABSTRACT The article aims at understanding the challenges and risks that arise for remote research-intervention with children and adolescents as digital devices during the Covid-19 pandemic are used. The method consisted of interviews by means of cell phones and computers with 18 children and adolescents during the months of March to September 2020. The results indicate that the relationship established between the researcher and the child is affected, above all, by the limitations due to face-to-face contact. On the other hand, it was noted that both researcher and child were highly committed to develop a relationship of trust. As conclusion, it is highlighted the expansion of the use of two digital devices, above all, of video and voice calls.

RESUMO A pandemia da Covid-19 é um exemplo poderoso do modo como os nossos direitos são reconfigurados e, em especial, os direitos das crianças. Mobilizadas pela exigência de assegurar que, no contexto de crise pandémica, as vozes das crianças não ficassem invisíveis, foram desenvolvidas algumas estratégias de investigação que assumiram um caráter inovador, dadas as contingências decorrentes da situação de confinamento. Este texto visou à reflexão sobre os desafios éticos e metodológicos na pesquisa com crianças, atendendo ao quadro de pandemia e confinamento, repensando estratégias e o processo de construção de conhecimento com estas e acerca das suas vidas.

ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic is a powerful example of how our rights and, in particular, children’s rights are reconfigured. In order to ensure that, in a pandemic context, children’s voices were not kept invisible, we developed some research strategies, which assumed an innovative character, given the contingencies resulting from the lockdown situation. This text aimed to reflect on the ethical and methodological challenges in research with children, taking into account the pandemic and confinement, rethinking strategies and the process of building knowledge with them and about their lives.

RESUMO O artigo discute os sentidos da escola para crianças de 8 a 12 anos durante a suspensão das aulas em virtude da pandemia da Covid-19. A compreensão dos pontos de vista das crianças sobre a escola se sustenta no reconhecimento dos seus direitos e da sua capacidade de participação na vida social, conforme tem sido demonstrado pelos estudos sociais sobre a infância. São analisados dados de pesquisa com 2.021 crianças da Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Os resultados indicam que as crianças compreendem a escola como espaço com funções amplas, que inclui aprendizagens, cuidado e sociabilidade.

ABSTRACT This article discusses the meanings of school for children between 8 and 12 years old amid class suspension over the COVID-19 pandemic. The comprehension of the children’s points of view is based on the recognition of their rights and their ability to participate in social life, as demonstrated by childhood studies in the social sciences. We analyze survey data collected from 2.021 children in Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region (Brazil). Results indicate that children understand school as a place which has a wide range of functions, among which learning, care, and sociability are included.

RESUMEN A partir del proyecto Infancia Confinada, se muestra la percepción que la población infantil española tiene sobre las tareas académicas durante el confinamiento, apuntando a sus implicaciones en términos de desigualdad y vulnerabilidad. Constatamos, a través de un análisis de regresión logística, que estas pueden haber constituido una sobrecarga para aquellos sujetos que manifiestan menor satisfacción vital y peor estado de salud, perciben en mayor medida la fragilidad económica de su familia y han convivido durante el confinamiento con padres que pudieron dedicarles menos tiempo.

ABSTRACT Based on the data collected by the Confined Childhood study, that measures the perception that Spanish child population has about the academic tasks during the confinement, its implications related to social inequality and vulnerability are shown. We verify, through logistic regression analysis, that academic homework could have constituted a burden for a significant part of children; in particular, for those who show lower life satisfaction and worse health status, who perceive the family economic fragility, and lived the confinement with parents who dedicated less time to them.

RESUMEN Este artículo recupera las narrativas de profesorado de educación preescolar y primaria de Chiapas, a través de las cuales describe y analiza cómo se están desarrollando procesos educativos con infancias de comunidades rurales e indígenas a partir de la pandemia. Los(as) profesores(as) narran su experiencia personal y docente como compleja, impregnada de emociones negativas, las interacciones tensas con padres y madres en la negociación de la práctica educativa formal para desarrollarse en casa, y denuncian la desigualdad social y su repercusión en la atención educativa de niñas y niños.

ABSTRACT This article recovers the narratives of preschool and elementary education teachers in Chiapas, Mexico, through which describes and analyzes how educational processes are developing with children of rural and indigenous communities in the pandemic. The teachers narrate their personal and teaching experiences as complex, impregnated with negative emotions, as well as the difficult interactions with parents in the negotiation of formal educational practice to develop at home, and report social inequality and its impact on children’s educational attention.

RESUMO A partir dos Estudos Sociais da Infância e da Psicologia do Desenvolvimento, o presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar a experiência das crianças de Salvador e região metropolitana no que diz respeito à organização do cotidiano durante a pandemia da Covid-19, considerando como percebem a passagem do tempo e como têm administrado o tempo livre e institucionalizado dentro do espaço doméstico. Os resultados apontam para um aumento significativo no tempo gasto em telas e/ou dispositivos eletrônicos, a diminuição de atividades físicas e a sensação de tédio por parte de algumas crianças. Essa sensação precedeu a reorganização de suas rotinas com as principais atividades que exerciam antes da pandemia – atividades escolares, extracurriculares e de lazer –, majoritariamente em formato remoto.

ABSTRACT Articulating the Social Studies of Childhood and a contemporary approach in Developmental Psychology, this study aimed to investigate the experience of children from Salvador, Brazil, and its metropolitan region, concerning their organization of time during Covid-19pandemic; particularly, how children organize their days, how they perceive the passage of time, and how they have been managing free and institutionalized time within the domestic space. Results show a significant increase in the time spent with electronic devices and screens, a reduction is physical activities, and the feeling of boredom by some children. This feeling was preceded by the reorganization of their weeks with the main activities they usually did before the pandemic – school, extracurricular, and leisure activities – in the remote system.

RESUMO O artigo tem como objetivo apresentar reflexões sobre relações entre mulheres e crianças ligadas a coletivos periféricos existentes nos extremos das zonas Sul e Leste da cidade de São Paulo que sofreram algumas alterações durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Para tanto, aproxima-se do conceito de comum para definir coletivos, em virtude da similitude de alguns princípios. Após mapeamento para conhecer suas regiões de atuação, foram usados entrevistas, podcasts e sites como recursos que possibilitaram compreender propostas e práticas desses coletivos. Nas conclusões, reitera-se o papel das ações empreendidas pelas mulheres em relação às crianças como inspiradoras para projetos de sociedade não hierarquizados e comunitários.

ABSTRACT This paper aims to reflect on relations between women and children connected to peripheral collectives from the extremes of the South and East districts of the city of São Paulo that suffered some alterations during the COVID-19 pandemic. For that, it approaches the concept of common, in order to define collectives, due to their similarity of principles. After a mapping intended to know the acting regions of the collectives, interviews, podcasts, and websites were used as resources that made possible the understanding of their purposes and practices. In the conclusions, the role of actions performed by women in relation to the children as inspiring to non-hierarchical and communitarian projects of society were reiterated.
