The course of the concept of cooperation in genetic epistemology

The article presents the course of the concept of cooperation according to Genetic Epistemology through the different phases of Piaget's work. Initially, the concept is approached as a product of a type of social relation, and later it is treated as a method for social exchanges. The concept was not always directly referred to, and the author did not give it the same amount of attention in the different phases of his work. One of the main references used - to complement Piaget himself - were authors Montangero and Maurice-Naville, who highlight the concept as one of the most important ones in Piaget's theory. The article brings contributions to the history and comprehension of the concept, and it also permits a new point of view on the theory.
