ABSTRACT:
This article aims to analyse the parliamentary functions portrayed by Brazilian legislative websites at the subnational scale, focusing on the educational function. Our analysis is based on the methodological model proposed by Cristina Leston-Bandeira, in her several works about European parliamentary websites. The results point to a wide inequality in the distribution of educational functions between the Brazilian legislative portals. However, we can also observe some forefront educational experiences that contribute to increase the social rooting of Brazilian legislative bodies.
